I just made the purchase redemption is sold with powerful weapons and shield and while removing everything and putting my arms, bow and rest it costs 10,000,000
-
for all players, the best VHF is redemption
-
I dont think Redemption is best VHF, for me its bad
when you buy new VHFs you have to know what is your purpose
and this is my experiens :
- For against NPCs in Sirus (maybe in Alatair) Chimera, Saracen is ok
- For against NPCs in Inner Core : Iguana is best
- For PvP : Chimera, Cayman, Quasar, Lagg, Saracen
P/s : i use Chimera for all my purpose in Sirus and Altair, only Iguana for hunting in Inner core
- if you use Chimera, you will wonder why it is best ship, hmm hard to answer for this question but meet me in Arena then you will know why, he he -
P.S.
Right. For example, Basilisk infocard says "fast and deadly".
BULLSH*T.
right, the wiki article should be edited: "fast and deadly with Ajay as pilot"(scnr )
-
lol
-
I've used the Basilisk, the infocard is right it's very fast and very powerful, but it's bed when it comes to agility what good is speed if it does not tern, just ask Ajay i don't know how he puts up with it i could not put up with it, so i got the Devil and i defiantly recommend it, it's got it all.
Now as for the Redemption I've hed that to, but i didn't think it was that agile, and the shape of ships are very important the Redemption is to easy to hit. really the only benefit to it is getting the shield without going to Hiruga.
the best ship I've use were the. Iguana, Devil, Horizon, Venom MK I, Deathblade, Chimera and the Geko
Also if your still looking for a good 10X10 ship the Seething Fury is the best.
-
Anyone of the lighter hulled ships wherever you may find it will be worth trying ..... if you are looking for agility and speed....they won't let you down.
There is a ship in Altair called the Maiko it belongs to the Coalition Rogues.......
Please consider if you want something a bit different ..... it is one of the above croud.
FAST DEADLY POWERFUL & AGILE.GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU ..... HAVE FUN OUTTHERE....WHEREVER YOU FLY.
-
just saying, the heaviest npcs test imo is against coalition rogues (or regular coalition) ships due theirs numbers and gattlings used. If you want be sure that you can independent hunt in IC, try few mission in altair. Its very 'ultimate' test for chosen ship and her pilot.
-
Against npcs, the most useful ship is the one that survives longest or is hardest to hit.
For PvP, you need a ship that can keep up with a fast opponent.Iguana and Chimera are my 2 favourites for missions/hunts because they are hard to hit. They are also useful in PvP.
Iguana is slightly harder to hit, but Chimera has extra cd and cd/torp mounts.
For Inner Core hunts and Altair missions I use Iguana, in Sirius I use Chimera. For PvP I can also recommend Cayman or Saracen for agility.
Ships with 6 level 10 guns can be useful in hunt events for their firepower but only if you have a wingman to cover your back. Most of these ships tend to get hit easily because they are big and less agile than most other vhfs.
-
For Apache
I tried the Cayman and i think it's the most agile thing ever. But then I tested it on a CSF mission, and got destroyed. It seems very easy to hit, is it
I do the same missions with the Iguana & Chimera and have no trouble, there can hit me much, and i thought it would be the same with the Cayman cos for the agility. -
@DeePSiLVeR11 The Cayman is definitely easy to hit. It was designed for PvP, with the focus on agility, and not small size.
They gave it big engines and flight control surfaces for maximum agility.
It is probably the best ship for PvP, and probably the worst for missions. (try Saracen instead)
In missions you won't be utilising your agility 80% of the time, and then it is only about how big your ship is.
Also, you probably spend more time visiting prisons than collecting pods.I have tried Inner Core in a Cayman, but got pwned every time. Same for Ancient hunt.

thanks a lot
bot if the Cayman is easy to hit, in pvp wouldn't that make it easy for the opponent to hit youyes, cayman can be much easier hit (compared with some other ships) ... IF you are able maneuver good enough to get it into your ship firing arc ... and this can be not easy going in some cases, this IF is tricky case here.
-
thanks a lot
but if the Cayman is easy to hit, in pvp wouldn't that make it easy for the opponent to hit you
Only if you are right in front of him, moving in a straight line or shooting at him head on.Remember this when you fly a Cayman:
- Get behind your opponent and stay there, Cayman is agile enough to do that against most ships.
- When your opponent is gunning at you, concentrate on evasive maneuvers and don't fly straight.
- Never attack a Chimera or Iguana head-on, instead circle them and hit them when they can't hit you.
- Missiles are in the advantage of the most agile ship. You can get in a superior position to fire them and more agility means more chance to evade missiles fired at you. -
Thanks guy
I see BT's strategy now -
hehe BT's strategy is spamming CD's whenever. Almost impossible to hit him with missile too
-
i hit him with a mine ones
-
Isnt hard to hit BT by missile, just doing more pvp then you will can. i cant explain exactly how but i hit him many time
and in PvP you must to know lauching CMs and CDs in time to avoid opponet's missile.
