I hope you decide different and maybe just take a break from CF instead of completely leaving. Sometimes we all could use a break and from my experience it can do wonders for letting stuff like that stop making you have no fun.

Facts: I was in pursuit of you through X and Custodian, you ran to NY to avoid capture / rp. I shot you. NY is not a safe haven for RP and you are aware of it. Don't sit here and complain about someone killing you in NY or try to make a deal out of nothing. It was you who was constantly insulting "us" ( BG & CFPD ) in OT and continually setting bounties... did we care? Nope, we just kept fighting.

Indeed. Disco is no fun anyways, stay on CF and do what pirates do, kill police and have fun. I mean hell, you died in NY for running through Custo to reach NY after being told you couldnt pass, by me the leader of BG no less. So what, its not like you lose much, 100k credits, big deal.

You claim you was going to help a noob, maybe you was maybe you wasnt, but none of us knew that. All we had to go on was you trying to escape to NY to avoid RP after putting a random bounty on one of my new recruits for absolutly no reason other then 'Hes a cop". Whom btw I havent seen or heard from since that happened. And FYI there were a lot of cops online at that time, you just chose to pick on the lowest ranking cop on the server.

This is an RP server where everyone is supposed to have fun and play the game, its not real life so stop complaining about stupid shit and play the game and enjoy your time like the rest of us.

As far as I can tell, people level 40+ cant use it as a safe haven, that opens them up to be killed if they are suspected of avoiding RP.

A while back, "veteran" players were using NY to avoid rp and keeping stores there. Op ( as I recall ) posted here in the forum that Clans / 'leveled up players may only transit NY or dock to trade while in transit. People still didn't listen so the "no kill" rule was lifted ONLY if someone was using it to hide or avoid rp. This is the case we have here.

But more importantly, here is a fine example of someone only telling one side of the situation in an attempt to discredit someone. He also set a bounty on my "newb" pilot last week and sure enough, my pilot was whacked by Aurel immediately afterwards. Fortunately my new pilot was able to obtain some gear an got some paybacks. Seems to me that BG lost a new recruit because of setting the bounty on a newbie pilot. If you can't take it, don't dish it out.

@Pui: relax mate, you like rping as far as I know so it will be lose for us all if you leave.

There are 2 ways to see that, and why it's correct.

1. If you check the 2nd rule under the NY one. That is the Arena (Cube and Coliseum) rule, it specifically mentions not using it to avoid RP. Same goes for any "protected" system. No RP in Arena, then do not use it to avoid RP. No RP/PvPs in NY, then do not use it to avoid RP.

Going to help a new player after placing a bounty on a cop and being chased by cops (so, adding a RP situation in the story), is NOT case 2 (it doesn't mention the part of being in a RP case, so if it's not mentioned as "exception", then it is not an exception), neither case 1. So if it's neither case 1 or 2, then it's case 3: "otherwise, they should avoid NY".

Soo... Wether you pick to strictly read what the rules are saying (and see that RP+ helping a new player != helping a new player), or if you use common sense to see it from around the rules (no RP in system XY, then do not go to system XY while in a RP case), you can see, IF both Gunny and Pui are correct, then Pui did as wrong by going to NY as much as Gunny killing him in NY. But none of them is a bannable offense, at least, not in the first times. And anwyay, not a reason to feel "abused"... it'd be an abuse if Pui was a newbie.

And t here is the info that players above 40 are not protected there, so it would end up that killing a lvl 59 player in NY is ok, but it's not visible in the rules (yet).

PS: "!=" means "not equal", in this case, "not the same as".

1) See because of the rule under NY I think that it isn't allowed. Arena and Coliseum got named but NY didn't. But I see what you are saying
2) You are right about that then. Never knew about a Bounty.

So in the end, the only thing both sides agree on, is blaming the GRs.

Ones because GRs didn't stop you from going to NY when you was being chased, so, avoiding RP, and you for not stopping Gunny from killing you in NY, which actually may even be allowed as you were not under level 40, not under the newbie protection, but not visible in the written NY rule.

And everyone wants GRs to guess what happens wrong on the server, check every kill, guess when somebody gets insulted on private channels, etc. Because you didn't mention that you reported Gunny to a GR before ragequitting and making this thread.
