Allright,so how do i update?
I tried using launcher-single player update but it says "starting update" and it's been like that 10 min now.
Should i try multy player or is there some other way to update new patch? -
Whats in the log window? Maybe you get a timeout with the connection...?

Looks magnificent. Perhaps tomorrow I will try again to install the mod... tbh though I'm having doubts if my GMA 950 will even handle crossfire with how good the screenshot looks...
Well, Christmas is coming, so maybe I can get my family to get me a power supply and a wifi adapter for my desktop, then I'd be able to put that Nvidia 8400 GS that my friend gifted to me to use.

That was mostly SweetFX at work I think. So far my Radeon HD 7800 works.

just one thing i would like to ask while we are talking about the big update since then i am experiencing, how to put this. jolts or sudden short stops at intervals while in play. after i get going a bit it seems to dissappear to hard to screen shot. anyone else having this too

Ahhh... must be the slideshow effect i guess... well, i normally just restart to remove it btw ... it is not because of this update ... it has been there so quite some times already ...

Most probably CPU leak. Allow Freelancer.exe to use all processor cores to remedy this.

could you please explain in detail how does one change the number of threads used by Freelancer.exe?
Many players are experiencing this CPU problem but there was no final solution for it so far.- Wanderer -

my post made reference that i was not having this problem till after the update. not meaning the update was the problem. and i recalled other pilots mentioning the problem too and could not remember if there was an outcome, and so i got my answer when wanderer replied.
