Except for Vorkuta (Coalition HQ), this System is the most guarded and secure of all the Coalition Systems. Visitors here may encounter numerous strong Coalition patrols which often contain capital ships of the Coalition Navy. The very reason for such high security is the presence of one of the biggest technical achievements of the Coalition: the Hypergate leading to the Inner Core of the Milky Way. This was only recently revealed when the Coalition decided to lift the embargo on information about the gate, and also opened it up for civilian ships. Explorers and adventurers should however be aware that the gate is only one-way, despite intensive work by Coalition technicians to make it two-way. Making the gate two-way still has top-priority, however there are theories abroad about the presence of an extraordinarily high energy source the other side of the gate which would make such a task impossible.
This System (multiplayer only) is home for the merchant clan, the "Independent Operators Consortium (IOC)" who have built their HQ here and is the main economic power in the local area. The origin of this clan was in the Casius System (Sirius Sector) where they remained for a very long time; but with the opening of the Hypergate, they decided to relocate. The chance of new trading possibilities and the attraction of exploring the distant, dangerous unknown was stronger than that of remaining at their traditional home.
