The system has four bases. Bordeaux Station and Martinique Station which are Versailles class, and Marseille Shipyard, an Avignon class station, have mooring facilities which accept larger vessels like the Soulforge Train. Orleans Station is a Notre Dame class station and does not have mooring facilities. There are three large asteroid fields, the Caen Cloud to the east of the systemis a large sulfur cloud containing lava asteroids, Diamonds can often be found floating freely within the cloud. Miners should be aware the nomads abide within the system and frequent attacks can be expected. La Royale have a strong presence in their systems, and will usually assist in disposing of the Nomads. However, they have no qualms about stealing any loot so miners should be quick on the tractor beam. There are several La Royale storage depots within field; these can also be found close to all the stations. The Rouen Cloud, to the south west of the system, is a swirling mass of sulfuric acid and hydrogen sulfide. Pilots are warned that this toxic mix will corrode the hull panels of even an armored, shielded ship in a relatively short amount of time. Because of its toxic nature, the cloud has never been fully explored. The pilot of the Cardinal, either was unaware of this or ignored the warnings, his ship ended as a wreck in sector B6. Lourdes Cloud, situated to the north west of the system, is rich in Alien Organisms, present on the surface of most asteroids. The Lorient Cloud, to the south, is a medium sized cloud of dark matter. Scanners do not function within the confines of the cloud.
