  • :strafe: unless my memory is slipping lately. i was on the understanding that clan ships equipment and weapons were for clan only use. since when are clans allowed to sell them to other players ???
    if thats the case then all players should be able to get them and there fore not exclusive to clans only.
    i also thought that clans only items was to entice players to join clans. :zitat:

    However, I agree. You shouldn't be eligible for clan equipment unless you're in a clan

  • Clan-Member spend a lot of "money" and time when they produce clan equipment/weapon.
    So, clan equipment/weapon would be much expensive when clan-member would sell it.
    But prices are different from clan to clan.


    Best way is to ask different clans if they sell their clan equipment/weapon.
    Alternativ ask clan members if they aggreed that you produce equipment/weapon on their base by yourself.

    If you want breakfast in bed, sleep in the kitchen! :-)

  • Clans leaders are deciding about access to clan bases, so it is mainly theirs responsibility.

  • a clanequipment costs in average 15 mill credits, based on the commodities u have to bring for cooking on the base. to bring all commodities to the base for 1 clan equipment u need 5 to 20 hours (depending on the circumstances of the clansystem). in the same time u could go trading and earn 150 to 1500 mill credits. means 1 clan equipment must cost 165 to 1515 mill credits. who the heck should buy this? who the heck is so stupid to sell clan equipments?


    btw. based on these calculations i set the price for 1 cloaking crystal (cooked on our base) on 150.000 credits. sounds expensive, but it's nearly the real value.

    recruitment, exclusivity, roleplay possibilities,... etc

  • I can only say that IOC doesn't sell anything of those items - Clan members only.
    But we do have a problem if players quit the clan - I can't force them to return the items.


    ummm two things come to mind in reading this post. if a player wants to leave a clan then all clan stuff should be returned to there clan dealer on base, before they can leave.
    then also the clan tag has not been removed so therefore they would be breaking server rules one way or another.
    our clan explained all things in being a clan member at the start or joined which part was the return of clan items upon request to leave.
    as a clan leader would place a ban on that char so it can,t be used,at leaders disgression. ?????? :salutes:thumbup:

    I try my best to do that kind of stuff. It's not even about the glitchyness of the bases, it's because anytime i try to RP with someone, it's always "i'm busy with something" or "not interested." Having the bases is one thing but having players who want to use them for it's intended purposes is another.


    I feel I'm one of those people or at least i try to be. Nobody is interested in coordinating a high profit BMG route or go on patrol to rid the galaxy of scourges anymore.


    Seriously the Crossfire Universe is economically sound. The credit system isn't going anywhere so it's okay to be a little broke. You can be broke and still have full in fact I want to encourage Freelancers and new players/returning players to hit me up if they want to play the game as it was intended. I'll even stream gameplay on Twitch or YouTube

  • Lets try making an exploration wing, for such showcase, with a full wing of players in formation ? You can start a thread for that and a date/hour, accessible, like weekend eve, as this is getting off topic here.


    The combat stuff could be from normal events.
