  • There're already ncie texts out there, posted on the CF trailer videos, or on moddb...
    anyways text can be done easier, I was in a project to do something visually great, just that my PC can't go well recording videos on full performance.

  • I do, when explaining several important things about the mod , the forum and the game to every newbie that never visited Swat ^^ (or except for downloading it in few cases). Most of them keep staying active.

  • Arrrrrrrrgh, i mean for the Ads m8.
    Its nice that you contribute in game and here on the forums. But we dont have an engine that collects all your posts from in game and here on forum (ahm the valuable posts) to summarize them for ADS. When i am back home i start to write what i feel like could be an Ad.

  • Ok just my impression about what could be an Ad- The figures are self examined and not yet proven - so dont lay too much attention to it:


    Crossfire : The Inner Core : Version 1.82


    Crossfire in its new version will include many bugfixes that are related to the single player campagne as well as the multiplayer game. You might consider Crossfire the biggest modding project related to all other Freelancer Mods currently outside. Its size is compressed 7 times bigger than the previous version 1.7. Hence you can be sure that it improves graphics, AI and for sure more story and with that a huge compilation of new systems, new alien races to fight, a lot of new ships (also a few known from other games as Eve or Starlancer). Just to spill a figure. There are an overall of 328 Bases (most of them can be docked on) in 149 System (its nearly twice as much as vanilla Freelancer has to offer). It in your choice in what of 78 different ships you enjoy the Mod. As you might recognize there is a lot more that offers this Mod.

    The above described is just an overview of the new mod. There were hundrets of other smaller and bigger changes. The most important changes were made in effort to increase the server integrity. The bugs have been reduced to a minimum, server crashes are reduced heavily, in-game vulnerabilities have been removed with that a more fairly and friendly game play is made available.


    Crossfire is either a pvp server although we put much effort to enrole the RP more clearly so pvp are integrated can be intergrated into nearly every situation on Crossfire. Either you decide to sneak into one of the 4 public roleplays or you just decide to remain a freelancer - its your decision. There are various established Clans to join who enforce the role play and make the game more attractive - just because you are not only enforced to trade - you eventually have to escape from coppers from your smuggling tours or even evade pirates who are greedy after your money. And if that all is not enough for you there is also a side role play where the Alliance Star Fleet fights against the Confederated Strike Force what is considered a political conflict.


    To summarize: Crossfire expands the original game in en enormous way. A lot of new addons, huge and new systems, not yet known alien races, flyavle battleships and huge trains, a dynamical universe that changes trade routes and equipment and system layout, a downloadable content system, regular events spread over the entire week, widescreen support... and in the end a lot of fun. So dont hesitate anylonger - give it a try now.

    Dunno something like this i had in mind. Just an overview. There are many things i havent yet mentioned. Story, Quests, a detailed describtion of the extensions (like explaining the alien races, the dom systems, what happened to utopia, explaining ships, inner core.... Explaining role plays.... So as you all play the mod more or less frequently you must at least some knowledge to write about that. We need players who write something about that (or search the info here on forum or request them) And some who could contribute images, in game shots as well as cut-off pics like the ships i posted in our gallery or whatever you deem would advertise the mod!

    Nevertheless i hope i could give an slight inside in what i understand an Ad - so some players feels encoured to improve this one or write own ads. And i thought i have written somewhere a "question" about the changelog - kinda excel file, txt or whatever. I am sure i have written it - i just can clearly remember and it wasnt a dream^^ Hm going to look for it - maybe i have forgotten to send reply button

  • Ok i have added the changelog to my initial post. I think that is an good outline of the mod and can be used to add news in the various sites (moddb, facebook and other FL Communities). Here it is. Any feedback no matter what is welcome and appreciated. I am not a native english speaker - so some sentences are eventually reworded in a better shape ;D

    Crossfire: The Inner Core: Version 1.82


    Crossfire in its newest version 1.82 will include many bug fixes that are related to the single player campaign as well as the multiplayer game. You might consider Crossfire the biggest modding project related to all other Freelancer Mods currently outside. Its size is compressed 7 times bigger than the previous version 1.7. Hence you can be sure that it improves graphics, AI and offers an advanced logical extension of the original story and with that a huge compilation of new systems, new alien races to fight, a lot of new ships, hidden data, wrecks, a lot of new guns, ships. Especially for the multiplayer part new quests have been added that are very close to the original story. Dom Kavashs as well as other Dom Alien races, the Ancients are introduced into the mod.




    Just to spill a figure. There are an overall of 328 bases (in opposite to 197 from vanilla Freelancer and most of them can be docked on) in149 systems (it’s nearly three times as much as vanilla Freelancer has to offer). It is in your choice in which of 78 different ships you can enjoy the Mod. As you might recognize there is a lot more that this Mod has to offer.

  • This is very good. Not too long and included all important information. ... I miss only information about NPCs AI which is much more better as in vanilla FL.. + You can insert few more pictures as some of order ships from Sol and 1-2 pictures of IC bases (hostile, Dom'Kawash)
