FL2 is canceled (i.e. not coming), thus your friend just can't have it.

Not sure if this has been suggested before, but why not send in details and pics of CF1.8 into PC gaming mags?? most have MOD sections in mags and if you get a print up there, then u def will see a increase in peoples interest in FL rise.

Now about the topic, I am wondering if maybe possible to have language selection in crossfire. The in game texts translated or maybe just the important speeches and help. +1 OP; you would need to translate both game AND mod... it would take more time to do that than to release CF 3.5

First Welcome Back Corp and second and i think people might have missed this guys comment and i think it bears some serious looking at yes we have mods and rp but we dont have story lines ......Story LInes Are What MAde The Game What It Was ..... modding is a great thing and tool but i think weve sorta lost the origanal feel of reelancer what drew us to the game in the first place was the story line it was good plot especially for a game of its time.. so maybe we should think about adding our own story lines give people a taste of what drew them to the game in the first place theres so much potentail even now..OP's mod has so many possabilities and could be great story lines.... instead of bribes to go to coalition space could be a series of thing you have to do in order to get good rep with coalition ... that type of thing would bring a great number of people from all around and it would be fun again to do missions that have a goal ... just something to think about

I'm wondering if the retro sites would be interested, there's a lot of them about and the original is officialy retro now. Might be worth posting a few comments on the reviews, etc. Generate a bit of interest from the older gamers who might not be aware there's mods about for a classic game such as this.

Would approach the mags myself but not a salesman and cant provide all the juciey details to get them to notice. If someone else would like to do that, then im sure we'ed see a rise very quickly.

The french magazine JOYSTICK has also a mod section. You can send a demo or some convincing screens to be knowed.
