CF1.8 development process

  • Personally I think the same of Discovery as any other being here. The only reason they had such a good number of people on their server is cause of the new version they released. its always like that in humanity. If something new is about to get released, a few people start showing lots of support and try to spread the support with news and rumors etc. When the thing gets released then all of the sudden on day one its overcrowded cause the people have something new to play, look at (and drool) and then after a few weeks or months it starts getting old and the lesser loyal people start vanishing.


    But also I played Discovery once recently and it didnt last longer than 15 minutes on my pc :P ....it just doesnt have the feel and fun of the mods made and supported by swat development imo :)

  • yes - and CF1.7 is already 2 1/2 years old (and therefore the oldest active mod... and we still are very successful while many others are gone

    Im not that far behind m8 :D started at the end of CF1.2 and have been here for every release that followed. There simply is no other mod out there that i personally feel is up to the high standards that OP and the SWAT have produced.
    Keep up the good work OP and i'll be here when CF1.8 get released :D

  • And people wonder why it takes so long to release the mod! Few Admin's would attempt to make so many changes in a single release, for fear of breaking something else 8o Hmmmm....I did not see the new quests on that list; maybe you're ready to work on those now OP? :P I have pages more rumors that will need to be added for the quests... :)
