The main dominating feature of this System is a huge asteroid used to build the Tekagi's Base. Its most famous and visible part is called the Tekagi's Arch which played a very important role in Sirius Sector history. At that time, Nomads were still unknown to most humans. It was the Order that were behind the revelation that Governor Tekagi, a highly influential and allegedly corrupt Kusari official who owned the Base, but under Nomad control. The Arch itself is an architectonic wonder and the pride of the Kusari builders.
Lesser known is that deep inside of the System, outside all the ordinary trade routes, the government built one of the largest shipyards found in Kusari space for capital ship production. The Blood Dragons, who oppose the official Kusari government, decided to keep a regular presence in this System and built a small asteroid outpost called Ryuku Base. Its location is inside the white nebulae surrounding the jump-hole leading to System Chugoku. It was named Ryuku Base and is from where it launched a suicidal raid against Governor Tekagi.
System Tohoku was for a very long time home for the police clan Dragon Corporation which were well known for an intransigent attitude towards all pilots carrying out illegal activities.
