  • DKs are an alien race - one of the ancient races. I doubt they would have containers for us menkind to travel with. We might be happy they let us wander on their ships...

The dom Kavash I spoke to at the lightdome seemed thankful for me securing the Domkavash Device so maybe they might like some Rum or tobacco or who knows Maybe some uh hmm cca ca cardimine. synthetic Honey any one. It apeared it might be Highly inteligent after all they were open to trade with the ones that are their enimies now. again just an idea. who knows how the mod will evolve, "The future, Difficult to se, it is" also I can mount ailen weapons on a fighter and an ailen cloaking device on a ship so why not an ailen contrapsion:-) :)

  • There are DomKavash planets. If you read the planets' descriptions in DK space past Weth, you'll see that there's a number of planets with DK population.
However, there is no logical reason why there'd be a docking ring on either of those planets, since DKs don't use the orbital elevator system like human colonies do.

Only logical thing would be for humans to build a colony inside DK space, which is unlikely at best. Imagine dragging all the Ageira's elevator components in a convoy across Inner Core...
Hm, that would be a good event, though...

They need our help ? Then they better start cooperating, more :P So for example we receive capital ship support and stationing for refueling, to be able to help the fight against the alien capital fleets with something more than some tiny fighters.

Humanity never went quiet and nice on something, more like in Mass Effect, in few years after discovering them, getting in the Galactic Council. Same for Star Trek, and etc...

I'm not asking for that feature, but making that "reason" against DK planets and moors as an obsolete reason.

    Why Ageira's elevator?
There are compact holograms that are used for it. Similar to the used ones on the planets Murmansk and New Mekka.
But, if somebody will colonize the IC sector... we have serious chances to see Venn filled with Dark Reigns.

Incorrect, the Coalition in Altair have to get through Sirius, Alliance space to arrive to Venn and any other DK system. The Hyperspace is a one way exit.

Whenever Coalition finish their gate, it'll already be late as the Alliance are there a while before them ^^

Coalition Hypergate can be aimed not at Venn - maybe Ryssk or Mepther. So there are chances that if Houses of Sirius will finish the colonisation of Venn and head to Jormdar, they will notice strange syringe-like stations...
And it is even possible that Aliance somehow (due to cease-fire and mutual defense treaties) get their hands on DRICs to deploy them in IC (You would be glad to have 13-K radius of safe zone somewhere in Venn, Jormdar or Mepther, amirite?)

  • Man, we already explored all the ways in DK space, so no one will ever "suddenly hear syrens", while flying already explored systems.

The darkreign cannons are not portable, are built on the site, if you remember, and it takes a lot of resources and time. Marmunsk itself had to be processed to build those, and it already is finished/stable. It can't get unnoticed before completition in such far places.

Anyway, the Alliance don't have to "get their hands on DRICs", we already have several smaller, more compact AND portable; but more efficient and same destruction power Ion Cannons, which we use to safeguard the Hypergate to aliens, aaaand, the dimensional rift Coalition used to flee from Sol. So don't try anything "funny" ;) Our defences are only rivaled by the Dom Kavash ones. Damn the not so little green fellows :D

  • Actually, when I played SP, DK gunboats were flying peacefully near Coalition HQ after player's return from IC.
Saving of hostileness between DK and Coalition is because of multiplayer limitations.
