Yes, saw it was there for a good while
Still it's great if that's done... no more lvls 90 or others hiding out there.
don´t ask OP about stores, he hates them
Is there any possibility on the removal of the crossfire launcher which almost all the time does not download the updates. Ive seen a few people with the same problem.
No - its just that easy.
If you have problems with the download you should check your firewall or other thirdparty blocking tools. Several and the majority of the users dont have any issue with this.
The Launcher is part of a security mechainsm as well as responsible for the dynamic universe and thus wont be replaced.
We can help you to identify your problem - but we wont remove necessary parts of the mod!
Huor said it right and clear.
Issues with the launcher were notifyed lately... and the reasons of them were explained on their threads and even the FAQ.
1. the holo projector does work
it did work in CF1.7... i have not done any changes to it... and i have already seen ppl using it right after the 1.8 release
2. the BMG restriction is a purely flhook related topic... it has nothing to do with modding nor does it have anything to do with my work on CF
that is what coders will have to do... since our FLhook coder (Haegar) is not even online for quiet some time i will not even speculate about that feature especially since there was not much development on our FLhook for ages
If there are going to be changes on the FLhook is something i preferably will discuss with the very few coders of this forum when they have the time for such changes. Right now all coding working power is currently being used for other more important changes. Futhermore i dont want to make decisions or fast spoken announcements without consulting those which actually know what is possible and what not.
Very well about storage concern of mine...
I finally agree that it's the owner responsability to watch for them (above Lvl50).
Altough, banning them from NY would be wrong because Manhattan is what it is : a trade Hub, a central common place... In SA's RP decription, we say we have our main headquarters there. Its not an operations base but we do claim to own a small complex (SAC offices and few training facilities) in the city, like any corporation can settle in a corporate district in any city... The defence is Liberty's affair. They do a good job so we won't start policing this system (although it might be a good idea all coppers defends it and pirates try to help the pitiful rogues who fail each time they come close to the planet). Just imagine n00bs connecting for the first time and seeing a Pirate/smuggler vs Cop chase that started in Manhattan's streets and gettign up to space ! They would get a taste of the real essence of CF in withnessing these battles and still being protected from it (below lvl50).
So, Manhattan itself is a valuable position, storage should remain there to facilitate tranfers between clan members and allied factions due to central position relatively to the rest of Sirius. If the Pirate want to establish a terror rule they can and Cops will try to break it. Its RP, its fair, its exciting to see for newcomers.
Next topic....
In the past there was a strict ban on keeping stores and and ships in NY that was enforced by the SPs. As long as NY is a protected system, keeping ships secure there is not sporting. And it's preventing RP.

I 2nd that!
the NY protection is getting lifted with the release of CF1.82
Above lvl 50 ? or All protection for any lvl... both ways is good unless somebody starts hunting dromedaries or newbs there under lvl 40 (or 50) which is actually against the server rules(as posted on the server RP rules).
Clan leaders and SP/GR are the official ones
My point is there are methods to preserve universal well-being, and that all players can contribute to it, irrelevant of rank.
Yes, but people who can be trusted...
Let's see if you're happy if the rumors about cheat or stuff come again from newbies... or false reports just cus a newb got kicked ass in any other system by somebody, like me
Still your point is RIGHT. All players have to keep the well-being on the server, and not making stuff they know is bad And all players contribute with it... but not reporting for official punishments on the forum.
Anyways the senior players can always watch if a newb was killed once or several times in NY, and go there to kick ass the abusive player, if more players come on both side,s there could be those cool battles vs good and bad Where newbs will wish to make a good fighter fast, to make their revenges.
Yes, but people who can be trusted...
And who's that?
Trust is objective. Warning can be issued and further action discussed here, if needed. If player keeps doing it, there are in-game methods of persuasion, and in the end, there's banning. Case closed.

great, thanks OP
Clans own a system to be their home, and so, safe for themselves The best place to put stores at....
You don't leave your home's stuff at the supermarket
