Hello everyone,
first, many thanks for this nice mod, after 10 years I choose to give a Freelancer another try and I pick Crossfire 2.0 to do it, now, the problem
I need a little help, if someone can tell me how to fix this problem with planets as you can see on this two pictures, I would be very happy

seems ur installation went wrong.

hmm, this HUD is from where? this are not crossfire icons. Was done change to mod files?
-
I changed HUD, Icons and buttons in Data/Interface after installing Crossfire. Changed files are copied in game directory directly. This is combinations of Flat and dark interface by Hunor. That's all that I've changed along with Settings in SweetFX settings file.

This HUD ... has a look
but perhaps try CF first with its original content only ... and make a back-up of this installation
before trying to change some minor (?) externals for the "look".Even minor changes can have a Butterfly effect in CF, due to the fact that it has streched the possibilities of the games engine to the limits ... and even beyond

I have used a custom HUD in 1.9 without any issues, but I still havent tried it with 2.0. Make sure you back up your files before attempting to change them, saves you a hella lot of time if you mess things up. Anyhow, welcome to SWAT Portal and the CF universe. If you have more issues reffer to the bugtracker.

correct me if i,m wrong but i thought no one was suppose to change anything at all, except op and the team, other have ask that question and been told flat out no.others will take it on themselves to do it and cause kos. this will be interesting.

if something was edited we can give no support at all
-
OK, many tanks everyone for replies. I thought that maybe someone encountered this kind of...lets say bug and can give some kind of solution. I've done forum search, have found anything related so I asked here. I have backup, so I will put back original files, no problem at all
Once again, thx team for Crossfire 2.0 and sorry if I done something I supposed not to do, like you can see I am very new to all this. -
The changes on the mod are reason why it now seems not to work correctly. We can't fix that. A few of the new and changed textures are not compatible.
Just a guess as I don't know exactly what was changed. -

Ok, the problem is fixed. I re-installed the game, FLMM and Crossfire 2.0 again, not messing around to add different stuff, and now everything is A+. So, it was my bad messing around adding staff which apparently are not compatible, like Huor said.
OS is Win7, graphic card is gtx 660Ti, i5-3570k, 16GB ram. 1920x1080. -
Im sure the HUD files are not connected to the planet textures, and that it was rather a corrupted install. If you wish to add your own HUD, try it but back up your files this time. Happy huntin'!
