This happened Friday the 17th about 1 hour after the "Ion Storm' we experience at same time each morning here.I was flying back from Weth with a nice load of Alien booty(guns),also 3 black boxes worth a combined 27mill .I was exiting the JG in Gurm when the game locked up for about 2minutes them my ship went BOOM.The game was running great with no ping problems or serious lag. This was a server fart.same thing happened day before.Same time, different place though.I just want to know if this qualifies for a ticket so I can recoup a bit of my loss. You're not the only one. I've lost ~90 weapons (40 of which were W'ar-Sy's) while jumping to Sovetskaya. It's definitely a huge issue and I do hope it is or is being resolved.
As for the compensation, you're left on your own (Or unless you get someone from the game to help you regain it)

need to know when exactly that happens, what and where have you been before, inside a jump or shortly after the jump.
right now i dont have a clue - need to investigate further... -
This usually have this scenario: you go for jump, this jump take long time (significantly longer as usual) and when jump ends (you see space) and in next moment come "death screen". Last time I saw that system message was simply: "Player xy has died".

THis has happened to me too, but a long time ago. I think that it was that Fluct was > 4-5
I don't have these issues with the "new" server. -
What probably happens is your ship spawns at the system center, coordinates 0,0,0 (usually inside the sun) instead of the jumphole's exit coordinates. This happens on lots of servers when there is lag. When the connection is lost during jump, the coordinates won't be set, but the new system will. As a result, you get coordinates 0,0,0. I found this out when i was flying a battleship and had enough time to realise what was actually going on.

Well,That makes sense.probably is what is happening. Bandit
