I changed the location to WoS. The players agreed, that Wheel of Sirius is much better for this event than Arena or Colosseum.
The battleships (2 dreadnoughts) were allowed to fly between Planet Death and the ring construction, not above or below.
We made 3 fights, all won of the same team.

Prizes were: 20 mill for each member of winning team and 10 mill for the others.

Team 1 and winner, congrats

In my opinion this was a nice event, most players agreed. This system provides interesting tactics, let's see, how it develops 8o

Congratz to Team 1 who killed the enemy BS 3-times

i wrote the frags before and after event (similar to TDM). interesting results:

the one who was killed most is the same with the most BS-kills: Tschakito

and as u can see (IOC)Ice_Warrior experienced only 1 death. but upstairs i wrote he was killed twice by [AS}PirateSoul. well, in fact the final shot of the second death of (IOC)Ice_Warrior was made by NPC-s (IOC has some reputation-issues in WoS :D ) but Soul was the one who took down the shields and most of the hull of the BS.

    WOS-BS-Assault

at 21:00 servertime, we meet at Pusin Dock

and please, whoever has a Dreadnought (not CD-proof and without cloaking device), bring it to the event!

and since new BS-turrets make a lot of KAWOOOM, we will need many fighters too ;)

  • Stupid question - maybe :
which Dreadnoughts or battelships are CD-proof, which are not ?
    (
have to check how "old" my DN-char is anyway
    ;) )

  • Hello NucNuc,
certain known examples of CD-proof ships are Liberty DN & Osiris, whereas Celestis, Inquisitor and Reliant are not proof for sure. Also from my experience all vanilla FL dreadnoughts can be fully or partially CD-proof, while all CF-introduced ones are most likely not CD-proof (but I'm not sure about Iteron).

A question to event managers: now that firepower is increased, can battleships be allowed at the event, not just dreadnoughts? (either 2 BS or 2 DN of course, not a mix)

    - Wanderer -

  • Iteron for sure is cd proof :)

  • TY for the answer, will have to test it then ;)

  • yeah i was thinking about 2 BS instead DN. NP for me if we have 2 BS (not CD-proof of course). i can even provide 1 BS (or DN if needed). it is always near X :)

This time many final shots were made by NPC-s. WoS became really full of them. Nevertheless it was a great event with many participants.
