Imao RP is king. BG will do what it deems appropriate and so will CFPD and everyone else. It doesn't matter who blockades what and for how long, just as long as it's not for personal reasons (which it's not in this case obviously). If CFPD thinks that it would be good police RP to blockade dublin then they have every right to. They also have the option of doing something different so that Dublin isn't made into the only RP battlefield on the server. Diversity is good, and if we can all do something unique and contribue that to the rest of the community, then we've got a great server

I dont see the point of blockading just one point in the game and trying to control one BMG.

As Marshall knows, I took him on a tour and there are roughly 4 more high profit, that are equivalent to the SOL run which need attention.

The NY to SOL blockade is effective but players are still making a ton of credits by running these other routes.

Having both "law enforcement" clans running in one specific area is over-kill and it also limits this portion of RP to that area, so in order to spread the rp, we need to hunt, seek and enforce sirius wide.

What I would like to see, is the pirates and smugglers actually FIND other routes to keep things interesting server wide.

I agree that the RP needs to be diversified a little by blockadeing multiple trade routes at the same time for all BMG. like the one from new york to leeds carrying station blueprints for instance. Or they need to try a rotating blockade by blocking differnent trade routes but without letting players know which route they have chosen to blockade for th day. Yoou know kkep the players guessing. I can't make for a hell of a suprise if the player stumbles upon the blockade thinking it isn't being gaurded.
And i feel that BG should keep ot up for as long as possible and CFPD should do the same for all BMG because if all BMG are illegal then all law abiding clans and police should do their job to prevent the smuggling for RP.
I for one enjoyu it cause the other night i ran the LA to SOL Agent list run with a full soulforge of 5000 and the experince so intense for me cause i didn't know if the BG would find me and destroy me. I did finish the run out but my adrenaline was through the roof and my trigger finger was cramped from the intensity of the run. Now that was great for me...I nearly fell out of my seat when i docked at sol from the nerve racking journey.
At the time there was no BG on for a moment and i was afraid that at any moment they would come on and scan me for any gov agent list. Keep up the good RP BG.

gunny m8, i totally agree with you and your rational for your rp. to be honest i think bg should handle the sol route due to its high trafic, and cfpd should handle the other bmg routes. this would be good for the rp. we need those massive fights on the server. you guys (the police/military) have made it a "mission" to do this type of blockade. i think the traders should make trading a mission type ordeal as well. meaning you better hire some backup, and you better not be taking those "direct routes" to attempt to fool the police. this would make for good rp, for both police and non-police alike.

actually make every trade run a mission. this goes to point that if ur in a clan, ur clan should have battle wings. groups of highly motivated hightly skilled fighters to protect. if ur in a clan, when you trade, it shouldnt be your money ur making, its the clans money. i dont know about other clans, but in UAC... me and dop have massive stores, with equip on them free to all uac's, thats what alot of our cash goes for, and also the clan bank... 20 mill to each new member + a full kit of weapons/upgrades for there fighters. so we arent trading for ourselves, were trading for the good of UAC.

in otherwords if you F1 on me from then on i just attack
on sight. you will also lose the right to the option of an escort to LA to return the goods

also the H5N1 Clan are the most persistant offenders
and are enganged (i am presumming) in a clan wide plan to F1 creep the whole route if necassary

there will be no more warnings of communications from me and i am hoping for this to become a standing order for BG

Yea cumon guys, there is no honour in the dreaded F1 button. i have never used it in running the blockade and never will. i have only been killed once! Si has chased me on numurous occasions all round sol. it adds an element of fun to an otherwise monotonous trade route. if you cant run the blockade without your finger hovering over the F1 button then please dont bother in the first place, this kind of bad rp action is detrimental to me teasing BG! BTW Si you had your scanner fixed by a QUALIFIED technicain yet or do you allways see BMG in my hold?!!! [58]

lol dopp i had it checked out by 2 highly wuallified inderpendant technicians and the funnything was neither of them could find anything wrong so they gave me a new one but what is even funnier evry time i use it on you it still shows BMG strange, there is no exlination.
I will have to make a more through inspection of you hold by spreading it all over space

Here we go again about this F1 thing , are the BG and the police going to F1 in, If so then we traders have a right to F1 out.
When i was in LA on my way to earth some guy i will not say his name F1 in killed me and F1 out, this is not RP.
When i commit myself to a run i do it , i have been chased all over the place and its fun.
But this thing about letting guys who are on a blockade F1 in and out is not the way to go, i think the blockade is great and good for RP, good for clans to.
UAC have had some good fights trying to run blockades, and I know there are other routes to trade , but sol is a prime trade route and as such should have a perminant blockade there at Dublin for RP only.
And people who want to block the route should be preperd to sit there and wait no F1 in and out .

If you block all the good BMG trade routes the game will slow down cos clans will have to group there member in order to do trade and you cant allways do this.
You cant garentee how meney members are going to be online at eney one time.

RECON i think you are mostly right, however i dont think they need to sit there all the time they are online. that would be boring and unfair to the BG. they should however F1 as soon as they see you in California.
this way they get to have fun on the server doing other things when noone is running BMG but gives the BMG runner time to prepair his/her run and the fun can then start.

I would like to see you guys making more role play and speaking less about it.

Pls don't press to much the detroit/BS york run, it is the best one for newbies and I think they deserve a chance.

in respoonse to Argos, i constantly run the blockade in my train on my own m8. why? because its easier for me and safer for the escorting pilots who are not getting caught up in a fight! my train v 1/2/3 BG fighters, i think thats fair game! it gets my adrenaline going! its all about the chase for me, thats what turns this long monotonous trip into something i look forward too! it also gets a little bit of rp chat going between myself and my, ultimately failing, persuer!! keep up the good work BG!! hehehe.

As for the F1 thing, i agree with RECON and Carbine, they both make very valid points on how this rp should be conducted fairly and honourably. lets see if we can learn how to make the blockade more fun and provide better rp from thier ideas.
