I had ISP problems yesterday - must be it.
And today is just fine

from my own experience the site and the server where down for long periods, both yesterday and today - this morning and afternoon.
i must admit that i have been quite surprised that it hasn't been mentioned until your post.
still it is up now, so all is good???

Yeah, I was also surprised it wasn't mentioned till now, not in public. I took it private, and well, it is mentioned on some clan forums (as they couldn't be on here).
There were issues with the host, that keeps server, this portal, the CF site, etc.
Server issues ( desyncronization) are fixed automatically by the daily economy update (next one coming within 4-5 hours), the rest, all is ok.

Well, really happy it's back up and i can play CF multiplayer today!
LOL, today I was playing multiplayer and just as I was exiting Fuchu prison, My comp. crashed, and when i came back I spawned INSIDE the prison in my ship and couldnt get out. That's when a whole horde of blood dragon ships showed up and somehow shot THROUGH the prison station and blew me up. I had around 2 mil$ worth of escape pods too. aint that a shame .

Yes, that's the symptom of the host fails, but it's supposed to be fixed an hour before you posted

there were massive i-net problems for a while
not only on that host
i was away most of the day but experienced slow i-net in the evening hours (using a different host) -
CF's page on MODDB was failing to load the background images at the same time as the portal was down, but anything else worked smoothly and correctly.
And I really doubt internet as a whole, had any issues. Maybe too many DDoSers, but stil, it shouldn't affect anything else. I'm not even sure if we can think of "country sized problems", but could be more possible that it was in Germany than the whole world, especially as the advanced ones have their own i-net grids.

Perhaps it was the solar flare...lol
Login problems just after the solar flare i mean....
Still, it would take a lot more than the Sun spitting its shit out to stop

@Xero18: considering fact that ppl from USA or South Africa can play without a problem on server is maybe better to ask if isnt problem with your internet provider.

btw. the website server is actually new... just a few months old
the CF server is indeed a bit older... but question remains... will you pay it?
