Greetings pilots! Once again the Silver Arrows Command are requesting for YOUR help in all our desperate struggle against the United Dom Forces, for the sake of all humanity and Dom'Kavash alike!

June 2nd, 2012 at 21:00 servertime, we will be venturing to the Mepther system to conduct a naval blockade operation for 30 mins. against Dom'Razak and Warrior forces to secure our mission objective.

ALL PILOTS ARE WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED TO JOIN OUR NOBLE CAUSE!

Unfortunately, I have some bad news to share guys... My computer is currently down and would not start up for nothing this morning. I'm hoping when I get off work this evening I'll test it and try to isolate the cause. I hope I find that it's the power supply(of which it's acting like that's the problem) of which I thankfully already have a replacement for. If that's the case, I'll have it back up by tonight. Otherwise, the expedition date may have to be pushed back even further until I can get the necessary parts to get my computer back up and running.

THANK YOU for everyone who showed up and make this event fun and a success! I couldn't have done it without you ladies and gentlemen!

We unfortunately had a high casualty rate due to some pilots getting separated on the way there by Dom forces and asteroid fields, but a majority of the battle group made it there and endured the attrition of the 30 minute naval blockade. Special thanks to Forlon for bringing along SA_Repair01 for field repairs for the IOC Inquisitor and other cap ships captained on the mission, the Repair ship definitely proved it's worth and value today. (and I need to make one soon) Also special thanks to Vishnu for using his GR privileges in issuing toalls universe-wide before the event!

The combined strength of the SIRIUS BATTLEGROUP engaged and set up a naval blockade that routed the Dom Razak and Warrior forces in Mepther that were bound for Weth today. The Dom'Kavash have expressed their eternal gratitude and appreciation for our noble efforts and successful mission. For those who have not done so, they have made their ancient cloaking technology available to us, along with any weapons we salvage from our enemies for our future use and equipment stores as a reward. Also, the Silver Arrows Command wishes to award all pilots and to those who did not survive post-humorously a commendation of valor for their participation and efforts.

I will never ever participate with the bretonia destroyer again... i merely managed it to somehow get out of this damned asteroid field in venn -.-
though it was a nice event with a big battlegroup...unfortunately i deceased by some doms who intercepted me after i had repaired my ship

My two action experience in Cruiser (Liberty):

- low front profile which allow ship go nicely through asteroids like are in Venn (still bumps alot, but is not tragic )
- cloak. It saved me also yesterday when I used it to avoid light fighters squad in Venn asteroids (imo perfect investmen activate cloak on this ship)
- do not hesitate use cloak or wait too much. Activation need time.
- when you are in fire (killing BSs, cruisers) use asap cruise, turn arond and with strafe avoiding part of fire take distance.
- Best working cruiser stay all time out of alien fire. In group are fighters for attract fire, they can easily evade, you not. You on other side can greatly use your main gun and destroy big targets.
- cruiser turrets have short range, your main weapon (working perfectly) is your forward long range gun which fire only stright forward. Is good practice little with aim for main gun, your reward will be destroyed target and your survive.
- cruisers and BSs go always first through gates. Fighter secure area.
- your shield is CD resistant (unless you are seriously unlucky) ... but I never had a problem with many cd attempts
- use your shield ability and all times when is your squad attacked by fighters/bombers stay or enter cruise and keep moving. Cruiser is NOT for taking down fighters.
- when you go repair ship to rep.buoys: 1) try take at least one 'cloak capable' fighter (better is 2 without cloak) with you. 2) you can repair ship also in cruise (much safer method if you go alone).

... I must say that I had high doubs if is cruiser usable/worth moneys when I bought him some time ago. Today I can approve that this ship have its own magic and can be great help when you use it properly.
