Sorry I didn't see this yesterday but RL came first. However, my question is, did you reformat first or just re-install the OS and which OS? It is possible to re-install the OS without corrupting all the data. While the direct connection to the ID may be missing, the data should still be in the appropriate file and will need to be manually pulled up and copied down, then re-entered. Windows allows for this type of re-install if you selected that option.

If he just did a reinstall, then chances are it's in the registry, again depending if he formatted or not.

Such messages are not there for no reason! And I am not there to take care of your responsibilities!
The crap that everybody thinks I would fix stuff for them or move chars between accounts starts to piss me off.

You keep OP busy with stuff that is not in his responsibility. It just prevents that he can take care of more important stuff.
If someone tend to believe he knows better and not take care of hints (every 10 minutes) then this one should live with the consequences.
