{LP}50Pack showed me a really cool way too make money fast...log on to 2 characters at the same time [using 2 computers, I would suspect] and do trade runs with BOTH! How cool is that? Make money twice as fast! Why didn't anyone come up with this before? And it must be legal as some Black Ops guys was doing it,too. Wish I had another computer to try this out on! Thanks 50!
lol anyone ever tell you you can also use virtual machines so you could just run another windows os running the freelancer (crossfire mod) within windows and then do trade runs on both the main host os and the virtual os and finally send the credits you make to your other char by depositing the credits to your bank and then transfer them.:)

I would not recommend using a virtual machine in the first place.
Besides that. How do you (as single/one player) defend yourself, if you are online with more than just one char at the time?
You can NOT fight with both chars simultaniously, can you?
Most likely you might lose on both chars, if you engage the "right" oponent.
Is it really worth it?
What is next? One man clan? rofl ... for me that is cheating.

This isn't new. Not to shout names or nothing, but I remember from the times of 1.7 that Vyss always traded with multiple chars... People logged in to do trade, equipment transfers... Why not, if you can?
And if the char is idle, it gets kicked. No major harm done.

Thread renamed to fit better what is thread content. Imo it is not about RP.
I saw before using ppl two trade ship at once. Well, it have good and also bad sides as all. I personally don't want use it bcs in such cases is bad concentration what is going on around and also not enoug time for chat with other ppl

Virtual machines are only a bad idea if you don't have the resources available or the hardware required which I do.
Also if they are setup incorrectly but nowadays with all these fancy gui's even noobs can set them up.
Personally I prefer using fl id manager and generator instead of two copies of freelancer running at the same time but that's just me.:)

I thought the point of the thread was to call me out? And I wasn't trading with 2 chars, one was fighting, the other was mapping...
But nonetheless if you have 2 comps then use them, OP didn't say it was against the rule, and I'm not the first or last one to use this technique so... its fair....
For how long will you guys repeat eachother's opinion ?
No matter you think it's fair or not, nothing will change unless you try it by asking OP for it, but the "other side" will also contact against that, and etc...

You might be the last one if they decide to put in some code that only allows one login per IP. Which will screw it up completely for families/friends that play together from the same internet connection. Good job.

Good idea, can be realized in less than half an hour ;D
My personal view.....1 player account is enough. If players can have more accounts...whats the difference with more than 1 pc? I also think that more than one player should be able to play from an IP address as far as more than 1 household member. I guess I see both sides of the issue.....I'm sure that admin could probably tell the difference if they choose. Also I think that the admin has better things to work on in the time. As I say, only a personal view point.
