Must be your browser stuff, as I see no such thing on Firefox. Maybe the elements loading part, which I see down, with no counter, you see them at the right of the adress, counting how many elements are loaded. Elements being stuff like images, button images, etc...

You can have your tastes, but don't tell that another's taste sucks, unless you search for a fight !

Opera may look like a machine gun with no complements... fast for being simple and incomplete (like failing to watch the CF 2.0 video) even that Opera Beta do has complement options like for toolbars, as the CF / SWAT toolbar got compatible with it after an update.
But Firefox is the most complete, and does many more things It has the same speed as Opera if you know how to use Firefox.

Internet Explorer, the inwdows integrated one, seriously ?

That has the most weak points to your PC To be virused/hacked in.
