kicking someone makes him not loose the entire cargo. The more it seems you got destroyed trespassing?
Do you still were in the tunnel or do you have seen the other system already? And from where to where did you jump?

You have been killed by nomads in Unknown system when your connection to server crashed. I've lost lots of value about the same problem already.

This is a function not a fault. It´s countering a well known Freelancer warp exploit against ppl using these things, to avoid for example Nomads waiting at the respawn point at the hole and it is part of the anti cheat settings. To counter these "problem" inGame when flying a Train or Transport. Simply ask someone or pay a Merc to make the Nomads busy - so most likely they will ignore you and you are free to escape - no big deal and a possibility to make some RP out of it. The last time it was hitting myself is three weeks ago where i lost a complete Trains Cargo of Crystalls including Datadisks from Altair when i ALT+F4 in a Jump Sequence because i heard a loud noise in RL out of our kitchen.

Sometimes you loose sometimes the others are winning. I am thankfull for these kind of anti cheat setting and simply brought another Char to IC mined again for a few hours and brought it back "Home". These trips are not meant to be easy and they are a challenge - with the old inertia settings it was also a challenge to bring the Train through scotia, they are made for experienced players to keep having something to do apart from pvpíng. I can not count the losses |PX| had in these kind of trips.

I know i guy that "almost" lost 2 cloaking devices the same way...

Just to mention again, if u have bad luck then u need to stay in ur bed that day.
For example i've lost more than 70 guns in Sol, no matter i paid for them.

i have never hit anything on my way back cuz i never get back from sov to sol :>

having a cup of coffe and not watching the screen will get you dead on any path, the "short" path will get you in problems with nomads, in the sol one, planets or moons attracted by the fire of your engines

I always fly back through sol with my cargo. and no warp gates for me. I've exploded randomly near Pluto using them. So its worth traveling the 800+k to ensure the safety of my load
