I think your news agency has been spreading propaganda or you mis-understood what you heard. At no time did the United States claim Russia was invading our State of Georgia at any given time, because that would have made our news, not to mention the rest of the world news. So I don't think what you heard was accurate or it was in fact just propaganda, because I can assure you of a few things: IF that were true, none of your troops would make it on Georgian soil in the first place and if they did, they would be met by 1000's of country-boy rednecks ( and their women) who are most likely more heavily armed than your troops ( not being funny) and are far better shots ( thanks to the constant use of firearms in that state). This is just one of the benefits of the people being armed, the government can't take anything by force

With all joking set aside, I think you misheard what was being said on your news. Because nothing of the sort was ever said here.
