This is a classic model of disagreement people have, on RP or sometiems worse.
I wasn't there and won't tell about what happened or who is wrong, but from the comments I have some tips.
- No police officer has to report what he's doing to other people in the system, even so they are advised of his acting when counting back to 0 and telling to drop the cargo. THAT is enough for all people in the system know there's a cop doing his job, and whoever puts in the way between the copper and the smuggler in an ofensive(by guns) way can be taken as hostile, as allied of the copper, or allied of the smuggler(depending on who's on problems and the other controllign the situation).
- SA as humanity defenders and peace protecters wouldn't defend a smuggler in this case, but is their right to defend other humans.... so whoever they choose to defend, their "karma" will change (in positive or negative
) and so the hostiles of the player they're defending will be hostiles of SA ONLY for that moment, even so, their stance with allies may change bit with bit in time.
- The smuggler can be from a big train filled with illegal cargo, until a simple fighter with 1 piece of illegal cargo, this part since some players were going with few pieces of BMGs just to put cops nervious.So both sides may had a part of mistake in this misunderstanding, SA for not seeing the counting and coming to defend 'without knowing that it was a cop-smuggler RP going on' and havintg a reason to act, and Gunny for taking decisions pretty fast even himself also had a reason to act.
Neither of both sides brought decisive proves(not any SS, but the key ones) of their version, and even if their version was true (this time on SA's one) that just shows the misunderstanding happened.
[fieldset] Said this, and it's really not that I'd be on Gunny or SA's side, as AndreasK said both sides had a bit or more part of the guilt, and so:
You have 12-24 more hours to post in here shaking your hands or adding your last stance(or decisions), but without taking it to another place, before this topic gets closed, as well as your discussion on it.

And as I seen here only 1 guy questioned the way you RPed, the rest just had a problem, that you killed the SAs

That sounds like asking GR to attempt to take action against me for doing RP.
Again, you assume wrong good sir, you were there in Frankfurt near planet Holstein in the incident with Obliterate/Shockforce, therefore you also are a witness, therefore you also are involved in that said incident and that the said GR investigation is NOT targeted at you. OK?
With Arrow's further explanation of the details in general and his public apology, apparently there is fault to be found on both sides.
Now, with that said... Me and my clan mates are willing to put aside our pride, let bygones be bygones, forget the whole incident of your rash actions with Inflkt due to the chaos with Obliterate/Shockforce and misunderstandings that ensued, shake hands over the matter as friends and allies and put his matter behind us all... But the question is are you willing to put aside your pride and do the same?

Gunny, you WERE right in destroying Inflkt for smuggling, actually. I just didn't like how you didn't warn of his BMGs in the first place, so I just assumed you fired on him because he wasn't carrying a clan tag (which is, again, correct, but I'll give Inflkt slack for it...he went through an earthquake and almost died).
Like I said, I only reacted because the Admiral was fighting you as well (which he started as well, and apologized for it)...if you're willing enough to get over it, then we can instead start kicking pirates around again.
