  • It RAWKZ like always OP.... from now on nebulas will be a better place to ambush and ppl will begin to think that nebulas are not only cute colored clouds but soemthing that truly acts on their ship/equip and may prove to be dangerous ! It will be a pain to avoid them but it will be more realist!

  • for sure - but you might recognize that all ships are influenced on their way through the nebula. So the hunter would only come closer while the hunted is already in the nebula and the hunter not yet ;) - getting out of nebulas and the effect is reversed - so the distance between both is finally the same^^
    But we could test this out in game. Maybe PX - they know how to hunt me through the entire universe without any chance to get me^^ (LOL that was a good lesson where i gladly remind myself to :))

  • it at least ads a tactical element to the game as you have to decide if going the straight way through the nebula is really the fastest or if flying around might be faster

  • today i worked on the flhook (yay its running again)
    on trying to fix the last crash bugs (hopefully working -> so far no crash)


    and some of the final features that i planned to introduced


    the NPC wingmen
    i did some tests today and drop the idea for now
    problem is that there is an conflict with an existing feature
    i of course can fix this problem... ive already an idea how to do that but that requires to build fully custom NPC wingmen code and right now ive no chance to test it as it does only work on the server and i cant patch the neccessary files without that the new anticheat solution is working
    so no wingmen with the CF1.82 release
    but they will be introduced later


    the mooring for trains is working
    the morring for battleships is... difficult
    it actually never was meant to be used but im on a good way to get it running

  • The real-looking like sun on Sol system has been added for some days but i need to ask something. Is it possible to re-designs more stars in different systems ? With different shapes depending on the star's color and effects ?

  • thx to titius-bode which told me that yesterdays crashs were related to one of his chars launching to space the final crash reason for the server got identified
    fortunatly this problem does not require any fixes and can not happen again
