Check this link to our full FAQ...
http://www.swat-portal.com/php…ail&category=7#question27Which tells you about running it as administrator, ocx and such... and a link to this ocx download: ocx
Also can be an unfinished download... that there was some interruption in your download and it's not passing the "All items correct" check.
If what I linked on the FAQ doesn't work, try redownloading it from our SWAT boards, it goes was faster than on moddb, at least this is how SA Raptor solved his isssue with the msinetocx. -
Thx for the reply, however I'm running Win 7 as ("godmode") admin anyways, so no way that's the cause I'm afraid...
The link to the FAQ you supplied does not work unfortunately... says "this site does not contain anything for your language"
-
Most of the programs doesn't work on 64 bit. I am with Win 7 too but on 32 bit and everything works great. Maybe you should try with 32bits too.

What you mean ? If you copy the link posted by Blaster on that thread, to your browser, you get an automatic download of the msinet.ocx, whatever your pc or language is.

I was refering to this link: http://www.swat-portal.com/php…ail&category=7#question27
This directs me to a site saying "no content for your language"
-

I soleved problem with MSINET.OCX ..... SONY VIAO Vista Home Edition
1. Download new MSINET.OCX
2. Because VBrun is part of Vista now, and such an old installer wont
realize thatdo this
regsvr32 /u /s MSINET.OCX (with administrtor privelidges)/u is the uninstall parameter
from 'Run" box
-
you must uninstall the ocx file? Means the VB runtime libraries are too old on Vista systems hence uninstalling solves the problem?
