Well Sorry, forgot to post When it starts and Stuff, but I got the results! Was nice and a lil short.

Even though I coudn't attend (didn't know about), place and time are NICE !.

Yes I will be available every evening, so if one of the other Managers aren't around, you can be sure that there will be Events hosted by me (well I'll try to host on every day if possible, of course if there are NO other Event Managers around)

Same rules as usual, no attacking between players, 2 or 3 teams (if there are many participants), and nice prizes

Will it be THIS old rules:
"
Objective: Collect the maximum number of Ancient weapons in specified time frame.

How does it work:
1.There will be only two teams.
2. Each team has 35 minutes to hunt.
3. After returning from Dervon all guns going to me.
4. Start Triangulum Dock 3 - Finish Triangulum Dock 3.
5. When EM say back to Utopia system team have five minutes to get to Triangulum Dock 3.
6. Penalty for exceeding the time 45 seconds = 1 Guns (subtract from the total results).
7. If it draws, both teams go back to Dervon to 15 minutes hunting.
8. While one team hunting in Dervon (35 min), second team hunting Nomad in Utopia (25 min) 1 nomad gun= 1M to team.

Event restrictions:

No char-switching
No cheating
If you die, hurry back to Dervon
Utopia system and Dervon is Out of Role Play during event.
NO docking in Dervon.

UTOPIA CITY RACE
TRIANGULUM 1-2-3 DOCK
The first urban race on CrossFire server

Rules:

1. Three laps around Utopia city, no Cds, apply Big Race rules.
2. Team vs Team ....Team players first time and last time /2 = time racing team.
3. While one team racing another team at the checkpoints T1, T2, T3 docks vents and control passage through the shipyard.
4. Fair play.
5. If the time of both teams are within 15 seconds of the race will be repeated. Eliminated error in timing by event manager.

or the "REALLY OLD" ones like this :

"Objective: Collect the maximum number of Ancient weapons in specified time frame.

How does it work:
All player will meet the Event Manager in Utopia System 15 minutes prior to the event.
Depending of the amount of players, the teams up to 4 or 5 players each have to be found before the event starts. On request other teams may join after the event already started.
Once the players joined their teams/group the Event Manager announces which team will enter the contest area (Dervon System). The time counts as the first team member is in Dervon System. Each team member has to hunt and collect the maximum nomad weapons possible within 15 minutes.
When the time is up, the Event Manager will let you know, and you must leave the system immediately and return to Utopia System, stopping all fighting.
After the team members arrive back in Utopia, they will wait near the jumphole to be scanned.
The next team can prepare to enter Dervon System. Event Manager will signal them to enter, and so on, until all teams have had their turn.
The team with most Ancient weapons will be the winner.

Event restrictions:

If you die, you're out. If this happens, but your team still wins, your team can, but doesn't have to share the reward with you.

Pilots have to meet up in Utopia system, near Triangulum Dock 3. If the server crashes during the event you should hurry to log in, otherwise your team may not start again.

Both sounds old, I remember a newer one, as one that Forlon did where you hunt both Nomad and Ancient guns. Ancient guns = 2 points, Nomad ones = 1 point (nomads are arround the Dervon's JH ).

When dead, running back to the event.

30 minutes for each team, 2 teams.

No docking in Dervon, cheating or switching.

Penalty, 1 point for 1 minute (better than for 45 secs).

Allright, the event is over, the event was like this:

Round 1(30 minutes): Team 1 hunts Nomads, Team 2 hunts Ancients

Round 2(30 minutes): Team 1 hunts Ancients, Team 2 hunts Nomads

1 Nomad gun = 1 point

1 Ancient gun = 2 points

It was fun, and teams were balanced At least at the beggining.

The ones underlined are the Team Leaders.

So the Top Hunter of this event is...

BG_Husker with 37 points !

Even my team lost, I feel as a "moral winner" , since we had an handicap on our second leg of the event.

if you have to collect nomad guns there it will always end up in a draw right?
