lol haegar.. you really use it
just to make it (more) perfect...
@ SA or who remakes it, take care when remaking the maps, Sirius one is missin Dervon System(purposedly maybe), Altair's one is missing (purposedly I think) Hyperspace system, and on the Galactic Core one it should be Phanchdar instead of Phanchda, Jormdar instead of Jormdarar and Sadurn instead of Sadurm.I also made a map, for a database... where it includes allsystems ordered and placed on one map. if OP's also interested in having the 3 sectors together... I post it
-
Note to cartographers: Dervon is missing from the Sirius map, Utopia is mistakenly shown as linking to Omega-11 instead of Omega-41, and there is no mention of the 3 nomad systems linking Lost Paradise (also not shown) with Upper & Lower Unknown. While you are at it, you might as well show the known links between the DK systems in Altair, which were not included on that map. Really looking forward to the complete maps!

Thanks Centurian, I'm marking this as I recreate the maps, thanks for the information. I'm using AutoCAD to do the line work and possibly importing images as backgrounds with these. They will also sport a mini-map inset of the entire galaxy with a 100,000 light year scale down at the bottom of the sheet, also indicating where the sector is in the galaxy and various other data listed in a legend. There will be three sheets, all on 8.5x11, full color with SWAT, Crossfire 1.8 and the Silver Arrow logos as well.
There is more to come and after proper SA review, some examples of what we have so far.

Sweet man ill be waiting
but how will we get the maps?
by updates?
small download?
the whole mod again with there new maps? -
The maps will be just pictures posted on this thread... Hellraiser. Nothing for the mod.
Also why a clan logo on a public free map ? Op didn't did that...
-
oh so there are no probs that Centaurian stated in the mod map?

Ditto to Michael's comments Hellraiser, these are just overhauls of the maps you see above, as OP has requested.
As for the clan logo, this is a group effort of the Silver Arrows, as me and Admiral Sam-Thomas are both working on this as part of our roles in the clan. The Silver Arrows are explorers and defenders of humanity from aliens, which includes also dealing with galactic cartography, in order to better explore and know where we are headed throughout the known Milky Way Galaxy. The reason I'm also including the SWAT logo on there, is that they provided the base information of these maps, thus we are crediting them as well. Anyone else who was involved with these maps we will give full recognition as well.

Centaurian stated 1 mistake in the maps that I missed, as I looked at the wrong spelled systems and missing systems
-
Gentlemen, a quick question...
Do you want me to show EVERYTHING, i.e. even the new "hidden" systems and the routes to the new sectors on these maps? I've got a good proto of the Sirius Sector, as I started on it first since it has the largest number of systems on it, but so far it's looking good and probably a hellavu lot easier to read and trace routes to systems. I'm still debating whether a background image is really going to do much good IMHO, it will make the names of the systems difficult to read unless I put a very overall, dark looking background image on it.
-
This is taking quite long...
Well, as this is made to make the mapping of system complete... then here you have the map I used for already over a week xP**Map taken out **
I made an upgraded version of it with few systems replaced in an ordered way, I also named "Rissk" and "Dervon" system wrong, you have the old model I used.
PS: Seems the Swat forum is resizing the picture, and it looks bugged.
Click here for the full sized map
EDIT: Now eliminated -
Woudn't THAT be better put under "spoiler tag" protection ?
