Let me give you a hint: no.You see, if OP was done, and if CF1.8 was released, it would be all over the front page and forums, wouldn't it? So -- no.

its better... instead of is it done yet, to ask, I NEED IT !! My DRUG

I know the job over 1.8 is almost done, but is it possible to add some gun thats firing with bullets like the tracing bullets surface-air. The one that look like lightning. Hope you got it
-
you mean like the ammunition the military is using at night? (light-trace-ammunition) where every 5th marble is lighting up, so that even blind guys can see where they shoot?
-
Yes ! But i want every bullet to light
-
You would just see a stream of light when every bullet is lighted, unless the guns fireing this slow, that they have a huge break between each shot.
-
2 shots per second would be ok
-
Sounds interesting - but with everyone firing lazers and rockets being nearly unmissable in 1.8 due to the new graphics amount added, why would tracer fire be needed? oO
Unless Bullets are made as new weapons systems (yes real fast bullets) I think the only thing it would do to current shots are make em longer.

Flak turret fixed
I was reviewing the changelog, and wondered if this item only refers to the bug in the Advanced Flak Turret, where the projectile clings to the hull, and finally detonates against it? This is a good fix, but does not really address the fundamental problem of the flak guns being completely ineffectual in their nominal role, i.e., to intercept incoming missiles & torpedos.Just my 2 pfennigs worth, of course, but "flak" guns are intended to intercept & destroy incoming weapons that the ship cannot out-manoever. So in practice, the flak turrets would have a high slew rate, high speed & high fire rate to track incoming missiles, but a low damage rating, so they would not be effective in ship-to-ship combat. As they "function" now, they have a slower speed & refire rate than the "defensive" guns, which are not very useful in killing incoming missiles. It would be cool if CF had these turrets operating like their namesake, since I don't think other mods have done so, either.

Yeah exactly - CA is right
But they should not only defend incoming missiles - they also should damage the attacking ship much more like they do now -
Perhaps tool it so that it is nothing more than a minor annoyance to HF and above classes but can be effective against LF class as well as missles?
I suppose part of this depends on what in history are you trying to base it off of? 20mm had a high rate of fire but would take a fair amount to take down a bomber (or a lucky hit) vs 88mm which had a low rate of fire but would blow apart a tank, much less anything aerial.
