30 MPG = 30 miles to the gallon or for the rest of you outside the US,(dang your metrics! ) 113.56 liters every 48.28 km
30 MPG is pretty dang good fuel economy for a truck here in the states.

STICK4TEHWIN! I made a solemn vow to every car dealer I came in contact with about 2 years ago when I started shopping for a new truck that I wanted it to have manual transmission and I wouldn't settle for less... Even after this knucklehead salesmen at a local dealership tried to scam me into a wham-bam-thankyou-ma'am deal with a truck that had auto. SCREWWWWW THAT! FFFFUUUUUuuuuuu...
And I LUUUUUURRVE my new Chevy Colorado reg cab truck!
Even though it's a 4-banger, it's a 2.8L engine(it's the second largest 4-cylinder engine ever made, next to it's upgraded 2.9L Atlas in-line engine cousin in the newer Colorados) so it's got just as much horsepower as some 6-cylinder engines w00t! (with killer MPG to boot, max recorded 30mpg on highway!) So many people nowadays barely know how to drive here in the US sadly Grand, let alone how to drive with a stick, so I consider it the ULTIMATE in anti-theft protection!

Happy B-day Sphinxy ole boy! Hope you have a great b-day celebration with many more to come.

I SMELL DKA HUNTING TRIPS TO ALTAIR!
Hit me up folks if you need another hunting wingman!

Vishnu, according to intel from Lieutenant Fud, the Dom'Kavash Gunboats drop them now. He acquired several in Vorkuta recently right before getting blasted by the DK Gunboats unfortunately and lost them... Granted getting your own would be a rather involved task, but you can't beat the price of free man!

Crysis gave me some history of PiA a while back for the Unofficial Crossfire Timeline/History thread, apparently PiA helped them along with the Dragon Corps supporting the Bloodguard in a inter-clan war against Commodore Jib and the CHAOS/HUN clans... I do know that CHAOS was bad news and that they too got banned from the server, for what exactly I don't know, other than was I was told or have researched. What happened exactly after that, I have no idea, but if your clanmates in PiA were getting banned, obviously something bad went down. Here's the (RP) date of the recorded events:
817AS/2997A.D. - The ensuing, three week conflict of the Dragon Corps and pirate CHAOS forces enthralled much of Sirius Sector as battles raged through the Sigma-19, Tohoku and X-3043 systems. A newly hired pirate faction, HUN, came with raiders from all corners of the Houses to assist the pirate CHAOS clan. Concerned for the welfare of their people, the Kusari Naval Forces donated ships and supplies to support the Dragon Corps struggle against Commodore Jib and his pirate menace. With the Blood Guard leading the way and a new law-enforcement organization aiding, called "PiA", at their side, pilots such as "Warrior", "Flame", and "Firelove" drove the pirates all the way back to their home planet in the Casius system, making the campaign a resounding success. So impressed by the Dragon Corp pilots honor and valor, the Kusari Emperor bestowed upon the Dragon Corporation the gift of the whole Tohoku system, formely owned and inhabited by the former governor Tekagi, of whom was killed by NOMADs. Dragon Corp pilots would forever more be the eternal guardians of the Kusari House. Many more contracts would soon follow. Black Dragon and his mighty squadrons became famous throughout Sirius and competed ferociously with the Hogosha for regional influence.

Hey Shocky!
My clanmate SA_Zeroth asked the same question about the stations just last night, I believe Michael mentioned according to the server stats, the highest number he saw on the list was 293 bases... Zeroth's up to 267 from what he mentioned, so that should give you a good ballpark figure for that.
For the jumpholes and systems, refer to the server stats for jumpholes,(might be able to calculate this off the maps too) for the number of systems, that's easy, refer to my maps!
All existing and current systems should be shown.

I've watched alot of the earlier episodes, but sadly I can hardly catch it on anymore... Great anime though!
And welcome to the SWAT forums/Crossfire server Vera!

Well Orion, us on CF know pretty mroe about you than you might even think
hehe
Yes, but VERY few people have such privileged information, of which I don't expect them to share it with anyone else either.

Ahhhh, refreshing! Nice to see some enterprising individuals are still out there on the server.
You'd fit in good with the IOC Talsman.

Wow... Incredible news, even if TLR is sadly a mere shadow and flailing relic of Freelancer's earlier glory days.
Glad to see it seems that old bridges are being mended and hopefully the community as a whole is putting aside their differences for the common good of Freelancer and it's future. A very noble deed indeed OP.

...Annnnnndddd people wonder why I DON'T have a Facebook or have a personal Myspace account.(got my old band site, but it's got very little personal info on me and NO, none of you are getting it
)
Seriously folks it's very simple... You want to put your butt flapping in the breeze so to speak to whole world? Yes, by all means, sign up on Facebook or Myspace. Just don't come bitchin' when they have security leaks or people you don't want to find info out about info about you start spamming your page or sending you threats.
This is a public service announcement by your resident anti-socialite.

Looks like I'll be farming various factions for the rest of the guns I need. I could use the practice anyways!
Daegon, there is an easier solution to your dilemma...
Go to the planet Issos in the Arena system off the X-3043 system where almost every single piece of vanilla FL weapons and equipment is sold.

Agreed Shocky, there's too much stupid in this thread, I call for a lock.

NoooOOOoooo Bumblebeeeeeeee!
They'll get you all fixed up buddy, it'll be all right! *pats wrecked husk of what's left of Bumblebee* *sobs*
Bastards! *shakes fist* THEY'LL PAY, THEY'LLLLLL PAAAAAYYYYYYYY!!!!

Actually after doing some reading up today OP, apparently a number of planets of dwarf stars theoretically do not even rotate on it's axis due to tidal forces. They rotate around the star, but do not rotate on it's axis due to relative close proximity to the star. Apparently, red dwarf stars are pretty common among all main sequence stars as well. So with that said, why not leave some planets to spin (namely larger ones) and leave the smaller ones with no spin? Is that possible with the FL engine? Or is it all or nothing?

One of the perks of being a "Lorekeeper" Michael is being able to add minor details and stuff at your discretion as long as it fits in nicely with existing story canon.
Yea, I know, the PX and of course The Order do expeditions too.
Hmmmm... A blurb about the Redemption eh? Hmmm...
I'll have to think of a story for it, I'll try to check out what the info card says and see what I can do to try to tie it into the history/timeline. I'll try to get the CFPD in there somehow.
Speaking of... When am I gonna get some history about the CFPD from you guys? Preferably in the existing format I have going here...

*UPDATE* Added a blurb in 3009 A.D. about the repair buoys being deployed in the United Dom' Occupied systems in the Inner Core by the combined efforts of the GMG and the Silver Arrows.
Since this is the year 2010, it only makes sense to make the *current year* of Crossfire 1.82 in the year of 3010 A.D.
