Operation Firefall 2

    Greetings pilots,

    this year during "Operation Firefall" led by Silver_Arrows, were found an important historical records about a GMG_ Reconnaissance Fleet. This Fleet was a first humans attempt to find out what was going on in the Milky Way Inner Core Sector. This first attempt was not much a success, because as far as we know, no one from that Fleet have survived. Prior Operation Firefall we had no idea, what happened to them, or what they were able achieve. At present time we have much better knowledge about different dooms races, and we are also able from time to time push them back hard, but counting informations given to us by Dom'Kavash, the overall situation in Inner Core is going rapidly worse each day. Therefore we need actual informations about situation in Inner Core close to the Dom'Kavash guarded space, and we can use this occasion also for search for further informations what happened to the rest of the Reconnaissance Fleet.

    Firefall 2 area of operations will be in "only" two systems - Mepther and Ryssk. There will be needed to perform a deep systems scanning and retrieve data from every ship wreckage which will be find. Combat is not an top priority for us this time, but every dooms ship destroyed can be count as bonus (don't worry, there will be enough fighting ^^ ).

    Firefall 2 details:

    • Operation start 18.09.2015 at 22:30 server time (should be 20:30 UTC) ... note: if will be enough ppl, we can start 1 hour earlier.
    • Start points: Weth, Omega-3, New Hongkong
    • Requested ships: preferably VHFs; and if there will be at least one repair ship, then can be used also heavy ships.

    Note: we ask pilots to be ready on above mentioned starting places at a above mentioned start time, because will not be possible delay operation start.

    @all: If will be someone willing to bring repair ship, please do a note here in this thread or send me a message (BS/DN usage on this operation is possible ONLY when will be available repair ship). If will be more pilots, then have some rep.ship(s) as backup definitely come handy (as RL usually like to step in).

    On this mission was retrieved data from 3 GMG Fleet small ships wrecks, and was found one more big ship wreckage which position was marked (Ryssk, D4). Data gathered from ships computers are now analysed in Silver_Arrows Cambridge labs. It can take few days to put all pieces together, but it looks really promising that we may get much more knowledge about GMG_ Reconnaissance Fleet!
