does it matter on which it is calculated -> NO
1. if its calculated on highest speed then your slow weapons will miss
2. if its calculated on lowest speed then your fast weapon will miss
3. if its calculated based on an average calculation then you will end up with a 50/50 chance for fast and slow weapons to miss
4. make your weapons fit the correct speeds and you will finally hit again
(point 4 is the only one to consider)

Yeah, Op, ..... your are mainly right. .............. It's silly got a guns setup where some of your guns will miss the target and waste power.
In CF 1.9 I used sometimes the combination Coalition Gatling/Skyblast B, considering that a close range, straight behind you enemy, all 6 guns would hit the target ............... but I was not so satisfied with this setup of course .......

I hate huge or not agile fighters : I think that I will go for C.Gatling + missiles, or with the tips from Forlon.
(.... If I will manage to beat (in average difficult of course) Coalition Rogues, 'cause I had problem with them, perhaps I will be pretty good in PVP and probably you will see me online. ........ otherwise I will stop to play ..... like I did a couple of years ago)

Fighting the Coalition Rogues is not an indicator for pvp, probably one thing could affect the other one ... but, i think its easier to just train pvping to get better at it than fighting the rogues.
The Rogues are just hard to beat, because they have good equipment. Players have the same equipment as you. So ...
NPCs not use missiles, cds aggressively, they not turn so fast. NPCs killing will give you good aim and can help with learn avoid better guns fire. But for pvp you need practise it on-line ...
There's 1 guy named Bourdo .. Denne's friend ... before, he was easy target ... but after extensive involvement in pvp training ... he's good now ... no other choice here ... practice makes perfect ... almost perfect actually ... hehehe ...

unfortunatly : NO
why : most comprehensive answer see Forlons post above, as he sais you WILL gain some - valuable - practise in avoiding gunfire and aiming (jumpy, jumpy npcs
) but pvp has other "rules" for flying/fighting behavior.
..... otherwise I will stop to play ..... like I did a couple of years ago

hi ppl, i see this and i have the same problem, so i
start digging and find this file in other forum,
i'm not who modifyed the file...
just make a backup of the old file and copy/paste this one.
it work in crossfire mod..
it only disables the hull regeneration , not
the shield regeneration...

And missing data in that (old) file too - SP campaign will crash.
Why not reduce difficult level to Easy or God Mode and work your way up to Hard

I know that, thats why use only in sp mode, when i finish the sp, i update the original mod files, i don't use
modifications (cheats) in multiplayer, its unfair...
i modded some files , ship afterburner, cruise speed, weapons and afterburner energy consumption, etc...
I have not yet tried the mp mode, is only when i finish the sp..
But now i wanted to congratulate the mod owner for this awnsome Work you do with this mod...
I want to leave a sugestion here, can you put in the launcher some of the options you have when i activate the mod?
caracter selection, music, intro, etc...

the difficulty i left normal, untill now no probs in the sp, if he crashes i turn back the backuped files i modded...
one more thing, how can i translate the game to portuguese, not the audio of course, but the texts, labels, etc....

new launcher options would require to create a new launcher version... which is... a bit too much work
translating the mod requires to edit the language dlls but since we have build the mod completely on the english version it would be required to edit a few hundred throusand language ids
