When you do a mission...If you crush on a npc it dissapears ( actually it goes away from the colition ) and it might get 30minutes or it dies by a sun but and the mission is still active ... so you have to cancel your quest...No idea if it is how it is made

Do not bump them then, you have shoot them
. I can't technically explain why it is such way, but if you do not bump them 'head by head' aka directly, they returns pretty fast. -
hey, this "bug" can be funny too, if u are the one who is bumped away 10 - 100 k (as it happens in IC-missions) and u fly with speeds of 2000 or more
and if u think a bumped NPC in a mission is a problem, what about this:

Deadly, take it as an "tactical advantage" :
an enemy "bumped" away, is an actual enemy less
then calmly wait until he returns - to kill himunless YOU get bumped into ... something like denne

I think you already had enough drinks if you bump your precious spaceship into stuff. Think about the your paint!

This bump is good too sometimes especially during pvp...
i did bump into soul and we were separated about 10k or something...
so, we took the time to regain our confidence again... a bit though... hehehe... -
