denne: You should really drop out the russian media drugs you are taking. The same place where you find nazis, fascists and even inquisition from 500 years ago are the bad guys who are trying to ruin the holy communism ways where that holy system managed to get 10 million died of famine in Ukraine, sending them straight to heaven equaling a 30% efficiency, comparable if not better than the plague itself.
And now NATO troops spawned in Ukraine, why not, there already are nazis, fascists, and everything bad. Of course, the russian troops and destroyers blocking the port are the good guys, they are totally under a legit contract kept secret from the Ukrainian government, while still being available and "real", nobody in Ukraine knows about it to avoid making the russians look too good on the western news. They also don't need to do any trade at their port, papa Putin will give in the billions necessary again.

And how is a government with 37% of the population (counting 70% of them are able to vote, counting the elders might just skip it) worse than a self-elected government that nobody wants ?

How about the 150k + Russian troops at Ukraine's border ? Not counting the bigass S400 missile-trucks behind them.

About that observation team in Ukraine not being in the "western news", I don't really see them as NATO, also in your russian link it says "Polish military in Kherson", but even so, they are there as an independent viewer to avoid any aggressions happening from the forceful blockade the russian troops placed. It does appear in the "western news"

I do not follow what you're talking about, but just to say that yesturday in the news i heard that the US get a navy ship in Black sea.
They say it's there to make trainnings, but why now ?! when this happend.
I think it's because in that way they will be able to watch from close what's happening there.

LOL no they send it there just cause they can. They already have enough people there to watch and drones in the sky and satellites in space... They dont need a cruiser in the black sea. Its not even their territory or do they want to protect their freedom now in Ukraine?

About German votes: Even those who do not elect, do elect namely for the opposite and surely not what the ones would not elect. People are just sick not to use a given right. A lot of countries on this planet and a lot of people would be proud to have a free choice and elect what they think fits best. And it doesn't matter if you have 30% or 70% turnout - the ones with the most votes wins. And in fact we have less than 100% of votes. In Russia there are even more than 100%, people giving their votes twice and it wouldn't surprise me if thats happening again on Krim. I also heard they just can vote between Russia and Russia, so the choice that is given is not really a choice. I wouldn't really compare German elections with the ones in Russia - not even partly.

If you ask me, Krim already belongs to Russia, the soon held elections will prove that. It would just be matter of if these elections are accepted by the international society or not. Putin also does not accept the Ukraine government, so actually the western nations must not accept the elections. This conflict just could be solved if all 3rd parties involved draw back and let the crowd decide about what they really want. And the Ukrain "government" has to ensure that elections are honest and free.

About elections, in a certain russia-affected period in this other country I was born in, even dead people had their votes up for the favorite prez Not kidding, there were more votes in certain cities than total population, with names including anything that was in the population registration 5 years earlier.

Anyway you know pretty well that becoming part of Russia is not possible, the only thing they could do is split Ukraine to take the bit they want, build that bridge and sell them energy/water/everything, as atm the Crimean peninsula depends on Ukraine for resources.

well, if krim goes to russia then it would be clever to take a look at the gas deliveries and check how much of that gas was used for the krim

it makes no sense for the urkaine (or europe) to pay for the gas that was used for "russian people"

I did not read all the posts from this thread so I don't really know what it was said , but i want give my personal opinion too , I can say i give a damn about what going on in Ukraine cuz i live in Romania at 100 -150km from Ukraine border .

Joker, you started well for seeing things clearer knowing what REAL corrupt government means and the rest that comes with it. But you are saying the second part with the "quote" to try make a way for the intruders get their way out so that there's no war (unless then they want to get even more, as usual), which is an cunning but cowardish idea, that "quote" is because there are still russian ethnic people in Ukraine, but Ukraine is as brothers with Russia as Romania is, and I'm pretty sure you did not agreed with Ukraine's try to take Ardeal off from Romania because of the buildings they owned and the pro-ukraine people placed there (to flee to russia with all of it, which was the ex president's plan, but he didn't have time for his russia-escape) as you can be sure the rest of Ukraine doesn't want Crimea to be stolen. Romania also has history together with Russia and a separation, as well as revolution, (ours is actually nicer than Ukraine's revolution), which is the most disgusting era in the millenia Romania existed. And it is still suffering from that influence right now, as it's still in a deep shit situation. Does that past together and cus some elders who still live from pensions since communist times mean Romania is also brothers with Russia ? Definately not. Then don't expect Ukraine to be much closer, it's just that there's an issue with the border area, and lots of intervention, for example how they occupied all channel/TV buildings in that area, even though it took them a week as first came the port, airport and government buildings. Now it's also mentioned how the people tried to stop some people coming in from Russia, which means they are actually bringing in "civilians" of russian ethnic for that referendum they want to do, for which Ukraine didn't agree.
