I'm surprised Putin didn't say he personally manned a missile battery to stop the meteorite. Maybe he will release a video of it next week.
Michael: You know not everyone keeps their date/time correct on their video camera.

It was humor BC, Putin in the past has shown himself using martial arts, skydiving, flying a jet ( all propaganda ) and the funniest one was he went diving 100 feet off shore and discovered several "artifacts" thousands of years old in the Dead Sea on a very popular beach. This dude is a character for sure.
Obama is just an idiot... plain and simple.

Apparently Russians are the new PX, using "magic missiles" that are invisible until they hit, when you see them, it's too late. It's since always, well, since the cold war, visible what path the US and Russia took.
While Russians made the biggest (fat like Tzar) bombs ever that could wipe out an entire city with the "target" inside it, the Americans made guided missiles that could put them through your window and blow up a room in the city, only killing the "target", and probably the target's guard.
If the meteorite was in the US, the public would've already knew even how heavy it was, it's name, and from where it came, and taking it down would've been believableIn Russia you are not even sure it if it was a meteorite or some sattelite, neither if the government did something about it or not, except a twitter message saying it was taken down, but then "something" hits the ground.
Anyway, if it really fell in that frozen lake, that would be great, all the stuff on the asteroid got frozen and conserved (and whatever was inside it, still alive
). Now, if in the next months we get a wave of disease/flu around Russia, you'll know what it is, Alien Invasion
More like Virus invasion, but whatever, it's still alien kind.
If it's just the beggining, well, the US will have to start taking their top edge devices out of the bunkers. Finally.
BTW, Obama is a politician, and politicians tend to only know about talking hours without saying any new info, and be fat. I'd say thanx to Obama that he's not fat and actually does more than chatting.

1. Correction: afGun, afan, [BC]afGun. [BC] is the whole clan.
2. I know. But please, enough about propaganda. I repeat: Enough about propaganda and politics here.QuoteApparently Russians are the new PX, using "magic missiles" that are invisible until they hit, when you see them, it's too late.
It was a massmedia humor from early hours. The military has long denied the theory of shooting down the supersonic bolide with a simple phrase: "If only we could, then we would not care the foreign nuclear missiles"
Anyway. I am agreed with Rogozin: thats why we need to develope a united world defense systems. Becouse otherwise... well ...it was only a warning from our almost infinite universe. Our planet is just a dust on her canvas. Even divided by flags and national ideas. For space, we all only a human kind.
Sorry for my philosophical.QuoteWhile Russians made the biggest (fat like Tzar) bombs ever that could wipe out an entire city with the "target" inside it, the Americans made guided missiles that could put them through your window and blow up a room in the city, only killing the "target", and probably the target's guard.
It's a matter of effect and what guns someone like.
I ilve in a "hunters" town. Most of our soldiers were snipers during WWII. But even them liked not just a grenade, but a little dengarous bomb what can destroy entire small bulding. Well... one of them have destroyed a whole German platoon, when he found himself surrounded. "Even in death - not wihout a music". -
No one is talking politics, we are all just poking fun at them. If you don't get it..... you don't get it.
-
I can even guess what it will be...
-
heh!
New photo from Chelly; mr. Putin tamed an meteor!
