Of course that confuses you, it gramatically makes no sense, using your deduction capabilities you can "guess" it's original sense

Great! ... now that is active , it will cause a bit of more RP. OP , will you make the routes to cross all over Sirus? (from point A to point B to point C etc.) , cuz if it's too close(the distance) , it will get bored pretty quickly. And perhaps not to get any more boring to the people(as seen from first hand) , you may post something on the ways to even raise the profit a bit ... something like a cycle of all of that , can't really explain it any better though, sorry. But I hope you know what I am actually talking about.
Oh and by the way , I think it'll be cool if there are also hints about new stocks coming to the market(perhaps in the Bar News) , as now more people will keep an eye of them.

what?

I guess he means to have periodic ultraprofitable runs like the old Sea of Shadows (SoS) run back then... 1 day at a week or so.
And that the dynamic routes should all be long ones to avoid getting bored... but it's better in a normal mode, both large and small routes imo."cycles", maybe he got indoctrinated by Reapers

comments like that confuse me
the dynamic economy is activeBMG's are still static? BMG's moving around generated TONS of RP in 1.8. Especially when all the non-smugglers would go smuggle in Frankfurt. Cops and pirates would show up in flocks and fine/tax. Then they would smuggle as well. But they can't anymore. Also, with BMG's being static, the cops and pirates know where to park and wait for me to come by with a load of contraband.

Yeah, that's what I meant , tnx. To be long , to cross a lot of systems rather than just (2-3). The bigger route the bigger money? hmm....
And about the " cycles " lol Mich , I meant to be like that everyday , enjoyable ;d ... cuz if it's just 1-2 times per week it wouldn't be that cool. But heh , I am just suggesting though.

yes we want eveything to move like the old days and price range not matter as long as thay move
-
and how?
how should that be done... technically? -
Who would request that normal goods are dynamic and profitable BMGs not ? (static)
that's bullshit... and racist for the "Black" market goods
If it's dynamic ECONOMY, it's dynamic for everything. Well, except ships and guns as the fabricators of them don't change as the market does.

Well, everyone knew that BMG's would only be accessible to those with a smuggler's licence for 1.9. So if it was mercs or police or pirates that asked for BMG's to be static then it pretty much fucked it up for us smugglers...didn't it? Got like half a dozen good routes and the cops/pirates already know where they are. They just sit and wait at the end point of the route or catch you undocking. Was there some kind of logic behind this?
-
If I remember well, settings for bmgs was planned to be much more different (+-) to assure more different trade routes. I have feeling that prices change is not big, but this can confirm only someone using smug license. (... try compare it with actual legal container trade with adding some gods vs pirates ... potential for RP interaction?!)
BMGs: ... if is problem with police to guard one point ... why smugglers do not hire merc to take out police or pirates? 1.9 is working in many ways differently as 1.8 bcs cooperation is important. My feeling is, that more ppl still want play more solo as cooperate.
... I play imo often enough and had in last months one = 1, defending contract from smuggler (ppl not even tried ask). So is problem with actuall settings for bmgs in 'static' or in players?
-
Static menas no profit increase or decrease, no special super profitable routes once at a week or so, no change, and all boring doing the same route all the time.
But well, even that I'm a cop and static routes would be ok for me, with bored smugglers no fun.
-
I agree with Michael.
And, well... NEVER EVER thought of hiring a merc for defense. Don't know why, maybe because 3/4 of profit would be lost to pay for his services, or the merc himself would find it just boring - simply escort a train through systems for some hours, maybe even without fighting at all - so he won't be pretty willing to accept such offer.

Just put a rolling text sign (like in NY) in arena
that should get the players to think twiceRrrriiiight, putting signs always worked, like "not to step over the grass" or anything else that's not (heavely) defended by law.
Maybe if there is a rolling text sign at 100 M of Issos, that would make players notice it and move to another planet with no signs in front of it
