Huor already said it's the hook, when you have too much ammo of a certain type, it get's removed and you get money.

But I didn't buy more than 50 of anything... It just left me 20 mines from 50 I had.
Not really a problem because I never use them. -
I think, it´s an autobuy fix. Mines were restrictet,
If you bought manuell you got 20, with autobuy you got 50. -
20 mines should be the max... It's better than letting the mine spammers with 50 items.

Yes, you had 50 pieces of mines and 30 of them got sold, leaving you with 20. No matter you had them from before or just bought them.
