As to an idea of the formation, regardless of whether the battle coming, has started or ended, a fleet is always dispersed in patterns meant to both protect the Capital Ship(s) and provide what is known as an "Alert Response" (quick and decisive strikes). Normally the Cruisers would be spaced out around the Capital ship with a some fighters in close and the rest spread out beyond the Cruisers to provide the initial interception of inbound Fighters and missiles. The fighters close to the Capital ship are to catch anything that gets past the first two layers (Fighters and Cruisers) because they are typically faster and more maneuverable.

Just a thought but the Coalition Forces have the right idea having Carriers (both small and large). Maybe something to be thought about for the Alliance Forces? Or maybe closer co-operation between the two which would allow joint operations? Just some ideas.

I guess that kinda depends on what the story line is and whether or not they are a part of joint operations. However, that part about the carriers was mostly for those that are writing the storyline and the mod teams. I know there is a new BS designed for 2.0 but if there were carriers with embarked fighters I think that would add more possibilities for types of missions and expansion of the story. Yes/No?

how about united Dom Forces (i mean every alien force in IC) on one side, and 3-4 anubis fighters on the other with DK generators

DK Generators can be portable jumphole generators(or black hole generators)

Dom's can't unite vs humans, when the outer galactic aliens barely know our existance, their target are the Dom Kavash, the 2nd issue about this sentence is that "Doms" include DKs, who are our allies, the ones who we're helping And they wouldn't go against us.
