    where is the "no effect at all" option?


    Nice try, but you couldn't see if your torps/missiles/guns hit or not, as the red "+" isn't everything.

  • It is a good thing to visibly notice the difference from an incoming torp than a missile.

  • While i always liked the idea that ppl are going to mod and help cf to become better and i also like the effect vishnu made here i realy hate to see that all this is done online.


    We must not wonder ourselfes that the Server is stable most of the time but as soon as "special installations" are online it starts crashing - as experienced over a longer time now. When we are going to accept this behavior we do it on the back of ppl just entering for playing the Game - which are btw. the ppl we try to get here. In the last videos at SWAT i saw more modded than original settings, from those who recorded them online.

  • Any difference between server and client files brings an error line and complications for the server to get/"understand" something which isn't in it's files... but I'm not sure if FX matters as it's not part of the data transferred (afaik), it's up to OP.

  • as long no timers are edited nothing bad will happen
    and we discussed about the effect changes prior they were done


    however it is good to know that people act carefully and see the needs to have a clean installation of the mod


    unfortunately not all players see it that way... the amount of caught cheaters during the past 2-3 months was damn high
    speedmods
    equipment cheats
    ship cheats
    loot cheats
    memory cheats... tools
    some players meanwhile have tried everything.... and failed

    Is there any way to exclude the effects of missiles/torpedos and JH (i play on all low setings and still have terible graphic lag when NPC or me activate JH)
