3 if you dock (in those few moments you stay cloacked), you will get uncloacked. But you anyway spend the crystals before starting the device, not at the end, so yes the 10 crystals are spent.

5 you can get more of them, but once you transfer them to your store they will get activated (and loose the items), if it already has the device, then, it can work.

well actually I have parts for 2 cloaking devices

I have purchased the three components and have $125 mil in credits ... my ship is a Saracen. I am docked in Relenth and I've been advised that the FLHook is not currently allowing cloaking devices to be constructed, or for /cloak or /uncloak to be used.

Please advise.

yes.
to activate it (cloak) you need 10 crystals for each cloaking process
the cloaking last 30 seconds. After this 30 seconds the ship uncloaks automaticly (no matter where in space you are)
you can however uncloak before the 30 seconds are over, using the /uncloak command.
The cloaking also stops when you jump (while cloaked) means, you will NOT appear cloaked in the system you jumped into.
Cooldown for the cloaking device is 10 minutes after every use (it's displayed in seconds)
for cooling down the cloaking you MUST be in the ship (switching chars, does NOT work) If you log off and log on later again, the cooldown timer will resum at exact this time stamp where you have logged off.

No, it's a 1 use pack, you use 10 crystals for 30 seconds then wait 10 minutes.

They won't last for long if you try to overheat the cloaking device

I saw OP writing in an other thread that the cloaking device was reinitiated. Right after i was reading his post i fired up CF, transfered the 3 Parts from one ship to another (which shall have the device and also have enough credits and crystals) but it wasn´t assembling - do i have to wait or to do something so it will assemble? The Ship is parked in Alaska btw. if it makes any difference.

i said that the cloaking device is working... not the content exchange system that gives you the cloaking device
