As it becomes more and more popular nowadays and i am using a smartphone myself i would kindly ask what are your famous apps? What and when do you use them?

My list is not so long - but here it goes:
I have an Adroid OS so my apps are coming from the market

- Opera Mini Browser (to be able to browse the SWAT portal from everywhere around the globe at times it pleases me) [free]
- Handcent SMS (a tool to manage your SMS) [free]
- WhatsApp (a messenger to send free messages to other WhatsApp users from your telephone list) [free - for the first year as far as i remember]
- Shazam (a tool to detect music by recording some seconds) [free]
- MySettings (to adjust phone setting like screen brightness, WIFI enable and several useful stuff by shortlinks) [free]
- Currency (Oanda currency converter - useful if you travel around the world and check the daily exchange rates) [free]
- Advanced Task Killer (a tool to kill unecessary tools that are running in the background) [free]
- ClockSync (used to set your phones clock to the atomic time on your position) [free]
- EboBirthday (to manage the birthdays of your telephone book entries) [free]
- Lookout (Virus and maleware scanner) [free]
- Titanium Backup (to make backups of your entire phone content) [free]
- TouchDown (too to check exchange server mails) [not free]

it is nice you need to find and kill your enemy sniper before he kills you
soundcloud app, skype, Runkeeper (works via GPS, tracks your activity, nice app), YouTube, TubeMate (For downloading from youtube), Translate (google), Google sky map (show position of stars), pinball, MP3 Music Down, Gmail,m iMusic, Slooshaj (radio via internet), adobe reader, Google Maps, Remote droid (connect to PC, I had one much better, you could start media player etc.) Teamviewer, and Teamspeak I tried but didn't work to me...
(depends on the version you can root it)

On my Ipad2 I have:
Build in: Mail, calendar and contacts from iCloud, Gmail, Hotmail and Exchange.
Evernote, Dropbox, Teamviewer and Citrix (have to find out how to right-click - maybe bluetooth mouse, don't know)
iBooks, NASA Viz and News Apps.
Besides that I have all my music and some video (converted dvds with handbrake)

I use on my small X10 Mini Pro:
GO launcher (great thing, fast and with very nice functionsl
Launcher Switcher
Juice Defender Ultimate (for littlle saving my battery) On ultimate versions it have tons of different settings
Jorte (nice calendar)
Battery Indicator Pro
ES File Explorer
Opera Mini
+some others but most used are above

yepp GO launcher is nice
but ES FIle Explorer is crap, sometimes it gets deleted by itself

I am using the Astro Browser, better than ES File Browser - but uses a bit more memory. Ahm also useful - Google Skymaps. Works like a charm and i could watch where Sirius is travelling (its one of the brightest stars on the northern sky). @Forlon: I have the same mobile

For those who use "low end" android as I (ex.: X10mini pro) might be usefull this info. I noticed slowness in my phone dealing so I little search on net and removed beautiful widgets (weather) and also juice defender and installed Advanced task killer. Dunno what had major impact, but phone again works perfectly fast (used stock rom,unroted).
