With that being said, someone mentioned that if there was an easy legal way to get insane amounts of cash we'd all be livin' the high lfie and we wouldn't give a damn about anything. Well you're cops, you got stuck to being the good guys and now you can go clean the galaxy's mess, you chose to be the good guys and don't forget the good guys always get the short end of the stick. You just have to find a way to deal with it good luck in your searches, but if you ever need cash just go do some missions it even keeps you warmed up when some insane pirate attempts to challange you

About the pod dropping, from my experience, I think there is almost 100% dropping rate during missions
(the only times I did not see one dropping was because it had been mostly hit already from an npc "helper"),
fighting random npcs do not garantee a pod drop (rate seems lower although still decent), but they also might
drop commodities (did not see any in missions)...Patroling in X for CSF and doing missions there is my best source of income at the moment, as I also see legal trading
not being that worthy considering the investment and small benefits... Unfortunately pirates noticed that too! (oh! hello SMG!)
-
Personally speaking it is far better than any sort of trading (at least for me) and also, it is a discussion about how poor cops can make cash legally, it's not limited to the trading only concept.
Hopefully Faaby one of those days you'll see that you stand to gain 6 mil all in all just by paying a 4 mil or so tax for, you know... protection against stray particle shots -
hehe it comes down to a personal choice in the end to submit or not to taxing...
Maybe I will when desperate for money -
Maybe I will when desperate for moneyWhen it's already too late?
(And I am still getting ignored too as it seems)And to all of those who are out there trading BMG, I'll bust up your fucking illegal trading until I ran out of money and eventually leave CF. I don't care if there are dirty cops involved... I won't stop until my money runs out.
I don't even care if I'll have to fight with some of you(PX, BG , CFPD , SMG , Fallen , SA , UR...). I won't let you make money as I am not able to do it too(by trading). Then you should see how it's really sucks, but I guess it would be too late?No matter now ... I am going for a rampage , live my last CF days as fun as it can.

Crysis if i wouldnt know you i would say you are a moron ;P
Who is ignoring you? Do you think as soon as you speak up here in the forum the things are changing like magic? OP already plans to do some more balance with CF1.9. So as usual you have to be patient.Until then i am sure you are doing fine with killing everything that moves. (Happily i am not on your list^^)
Happy killing spree grandpa Crysis... -
-
while I understand Crysissi's frustration a much bigger balance problem should be adressed which concerns PvP (has there ever been balance checks regarding ships in the beta?!)
until then 'balance' and 'CF' remains an oxymoron
no thread hijacking intended; I just don't bother opening a new thread as I will just get flamed by n00bs
Crysis QQ moar, I am in BG since 2003 and have never left (at least not officialy); your point being?

My point being: Leaving out of boriness and unfair gameplay

To balance stuff better (ships, trades, etc...) it would need a balance team who can work on some points step by step... Anyone willed to take over this role? I think those would be needed for the next version tho.

Yeah... when I proposed that in a few previous posts , nobody even listened and continiued their stupid arguments about the BMG matter
-
see i dont ignore you ;D
-
And if you make the others to listen instead of ignoring people... it would be great
-
Nice knowing you in CF Crysis.
-
I am agreeing with Crysis somthing have to change.
But if OP figures out a way to limit the ammout of buying and selling
oods maby "Normal Goods" could be extended to 1000 or even maby 1500-2000 what do ya think. (1000) is still good -
yeah - if i find out how this would be an option
-
this whole thread is one gigantic 'lolz'
first of all, if the economy is completely random, OP cannot affect whether there is going to be long or super short routes on a particular day
second of all, i dont see why Crysis and GrandK have would have any reason to complain whatsoever, you have loads of cash... it's almost as if Michael complained about a lack of money^^
third, we all know that fighting is much more interesting than trading, and that most of us are just too lazy and too low on time to go hunt the traders around the entire space, so I don't see a point in investing resources and time into thinking about how to improve RP situations between traders vs. cops/pirates - take me, for example, I can play 2hs a day tops (on a good day), ofc I won't go hunt someone and spend 30 mins of flying just so he could slam the doors right in front of me and logout
since we are mostly all hanging around in X, I think we should make the system more interesting by making some kind of 24/7 event in there
and about trade - trade only when you have to - buy APC, do a few runs in NY and you 've covered your 1-2 hours of fighting action
-
things are changing diablo, yesterday nearly the entire server was to find in Bretonia as the day before. Cops firing on poor Royality Demanders in CapShips, Freelancers trying to trade BMG, Pirates taxing and Mercs collecting bounties. At all i lost much money in ammo but earned much fun. And another thing about that - it was not like in the "old" days - it was like in the new days
the present.
Crysis Mate, go go go
and please keep to have fun!

a smuggler pays around 3-4M to fill an APC... you're a police and ask a fine of 3M... the dude either pays you or lose money by getting killed. best of worlds, he pays, you win and he loses. worst of worlds, he dies and lose and you got 100'000K. Sure thats not much but while you gain nothing the pirate loses 3M...
Its not always about gain, sometimes, making the other side lose its too-easy money is worth something !!!
