Crossfire 1.82 released

    As the 1.81 server and everything else was running normal, then it has to be from the new release.


    OP, what exactly could be possibly that you made/edited to lead to such a problem?

    the server is running again, a fix is getting applied right at the first time you use the launcher
    meanwhile i consider this "bug" good as it will prevent that new players try to connect to the server without launcher


    well you can play now, server is up and running


    but you have to be careful with the char creation
    you can create up to 10 chars now but if you create more than 10 (for some reason there is no limitation that would hold you back) you will risk to loose the entire account
    so 1-10 chars are good, more than 10 are highly dangerous

    Alright, so I'm slightly confused as to what I'm supposed to do. Since I have a shitty connection, the download has been going for almost two and half hours now, and I just checked out the forum and am confused as to whether I should use the 1.82 exe file or stick with my old install. I can do either as I haven't even got the 1.82 downloaded yet. What should I do?

    For us idiots, please step by step guide to installing CF 1.82. I have CF 1.81 activated at the moment, and really have no clue on how to install new version.

    Okay, so sorry to bother you again, but I lost all of my chars but my main. This means an Osiris, Train, APC, storage char. My main is : >Keli<.
    Is it possible to get back my chars?

    Do Not buy or sell anything or you will be kicked for possible cheat.


    This may correct itself with AM server restart.. and if not, then maybe OP will advise.

    WOW, thanks its finally here and in the process of downloading, I ought to be in the thick of it by 8:30pm. Been waiting on edge will comment on it latter YEEEEHAAAA!

    I love the lvl 100 feature :D Also teh bright colors of hull shield energy bars... or the new cityscapes... or the new Arena on Purple-Blue (I told them reverted for a reason heh) :D

    Note: I have noticed shields do not go down anymore when jetisoning cargo?
    Since I have not seen (or maybe missed?) a change reguarding this - I thought I'd mention it.... To make sure this is intentional?
