  • TDM ? Well, this time another EM or player can manage that event as I can't log in this week, maybe with luck but hardly. But I manage it when I'm online :P as I have a funded EM char for that event :P

  • since the crash issue is meanwhile gone again ive started to apply the patches again


    so far the repair buoys, some faction changes aswell as some changes on the ships have been installed again without causing any problems
    tomorrow morning ill try to install a basic mooring package for testing purposes
    the full mooring update will be applied probably tomorrow afternoon


    this weekend ill test the cloaking stuff aswell as dynamic created items
    probably ill also will be able to finish all the retexturing work and the flmm script changes


    that would mean the only work left to do is to find the reason for the last crash (offset) and to find a solution for the AV issue
    then the mod would be finished

  • Wow thats fantastic OP :D i personally cant wait to DL the latest version of the mod, as i am having trouble DLing the patches through the launcher at the mo. Download's get to about file 900 and then for some reason wont download any more and tells me i can only play SP mode :( Not that im too worried as have had loads of enjoyment exploring all that i can in CF1.81 :)

  • would be perfect to get the CapShips back for trading at least. Player docking BS is nice but surely something for 1.9 or 2.0 so...


    1.8 is perfect as is with all the new possibilities, pictures, Ships and so on and so on and 1.82 was meant as a maintenance release now OP is puting better starsperes in it. It´s realy enough work and we could need some stability without fixes and updates to make the population growing - it is atm btw. :)

  • if you uninstall FLMM nothing is changed on your mods. They remain activated in the last state before you uninstalled FLMM.
    The more important question would be - what happens if you install it again. As far as i know FLMM would again make all mods acivatable - and thats an point where you probably would run into confilcts as an already activated mod wont activate again and probably other mods wont activate again as the structure of the previos activated mod wont fit to the structure of the currently to activating mod.


    Hence either you decide before you activate a mod for proper install routines and an own mod structure on your harddisk or you have to make a clean install everytime again. I would prefer the first one as thats the one with less work to do^^

    this is pretty exactly what happens... i know because it has happened to me but its a simple fix if you cannot get it running. then just delete all freelancer & flmm files but remember to write down your account id... and just re-install everything
    i know, it sux but as far as i know, there's no other way to fix that. and if there is, i want to know. good luck :thumbup:

  • update on cloaking devices:



    today i tested CFs cloaking abilities
    the devices are working fine aswell as the cloaking regulation software


    I patched one of my chars to have a cloaking devices... and there the problems start
    patching single chars is possible (but time intensive)... patching all chars or allowing cloaking devices to be bought is currently not possible
    the problem hereby is the singleplayer campaign which would be damaged


    other servers can use cloaking devices since they give a damn about the singleplayer but that is no option for us
    haegar was working on something that would be the solution to this problem as it would only modify the multiplayer version of the game... but i guess we will have to wait a bit longer for this feature
