    Greetings everyone,


    I am going to make a proposal and it's up to all of us to make it happen or not. I have no desire to see any of your wise or ignorant remarks, uneducated opinions or things that do not matter. So here it goes.


    1. I am, along with other "old" members, are wanting to return to CF very soon and make things happen here as they should. This means trading, robbing, arresting, policing, stealing, bribing, smuggling, law enforcement and of course, corruption.


    2. "We" would like to see the reinstatement of any clan that had a past here on CF, all that want to return with the best of intentions may do so. This includes any players who left CF for any variety of reasons.


    3. This means that all the current and past clan leaders have work to do and to get your players / members back online and do what you do best......and that's playing the game, outwitting your opponent and planning your next raid, smuggle, robbery or arrest.


    4. Clan " dedication" and this means that clans help each other outside of RP, which in-turn helps the server.


    5. Letting the trespasses of the past on each other, be left in the past.


    Now what I am proposing is pretty simple and self-explanatory, so it comes down to a decision if any of you who are reading this want to bring old friends back , make new friends and enjoy the game. As for all the old CFPD members, I don't expect any of you to wear tags or even consider joining. But I do want you to participate in making the server a place to be, like it was in the years past.


    This is not a thread for questions. It's a thread for you to decide what you want to do and how you will do it.

    In the end, it's on us to decide if we want CF 1.8 to succeed or not. If we bring back enough players at the same time we have a chance to achieve critical mass again. This is not about one clan or the other, old grudges must be left at the door if we are to have a chance to bring back the server to it's former glory. The people we need the most are the ones that were the driver of RP, those that not only created fun for themselves but for everybody else. It is to easy to play this game like it is for your own enjoyment only forgetting that there are other people on the other side.


    Personally, I derive the most fun out of this game from interactions with other players. Create a character and have fun with it, use your imagination. There is so much more opportunity to this game then only npc killing and trading. Even pvp fights are made much more fun when you can create a story behind them, when you have a motivation to fight.



    I hope to see you in space, and try to bring your friend.

    yes it is on us but im not even sure that i should be saying anything im not a clan leader and as such have no right to say you can count on BG to come back im hoping when they read this they might but at this point im not getting my hopes up id like to be wrong but im now getting to where its hard for me to sit on night after night waitng and hoping for a sign of life from the ones that are suppose to take the lead in these matters but can only talk from forum anymore .....reminds me of an old parable do as i say not as i do mabye its just me as old lol...but the saying is true if you are not present how do you expect the clan to behave if you arnt there to teach them how and ultimate what it is you are suppose to do

    I'm looking forward to this, I think it will be fun. Rhone, there's always recruiting, the BG can grow...

    No Rhon, you don't have to be a clan leader to speak, or to recruit, neither to call back people from your clan or new people to the mod. ^^


    This is not like G9, only the best 9 countries can help with crysis... no... every human, as here, every member ^^

    I dunno if ARROW has seen this yet due to him possibly still recovering, but on behalf of the Silver Arrows, we stand ready to assist and help Gunny. We haven't been here that long, but we're young and growing. We look forward to all older players and newer players alike to bring life back to the Crossfire server.

    Well i'm here and Silver Arrows will indeed walk with others who wish to follow Chief Officer Gunny's proposal.


    Since Centaurian came to me in december to urge me to "keep the clans alive and active", i'm doing the best i can to keep this organization running and to recruit good, loyal and participating members. Unfortunately this time of year is in direct confrontation with end of year school sessions and few of our members are unavailable because of that, such as SA_TANGO and SA_EXTROS. I will contact them to see if they could manage a little time to make a presence anytime soon... I am also very taken by work and few remaining classes to completed also...


    In the meantime, i can count on very active members like SA_ORION, SA_FORLON and SA_SPHINX. They are all playing pretty often and are all dedicated to help out the community and will help in this effort i have no doubt. Stay tuned because i will soon organize an expedition in the core so we might unite all to show our new enemies we are here and we are strong.


    EDIT : I'll make a nice poster with all active clans on it to show what RP is available (Police, Merc, Smuggler, Pirate, Explorer, etc...). I hope this will make ppl wish to join the clans a little more :) Freelancing is nice but clans are the central pillar of RP so wee need them to be strong... If every interested member/leader of a clan may send me screenshots of their kind of action it'll help very much (police patrolling, pirates fighting, etc....)
