With the current setting you are encouraged to engage diplomatic relations with the Serverclans. It doesnt matter if you are a Freelancer or in a clan. There is always room for agreements.

Those non-BG that travel back and forth through Custo are mostly CFPD. And BG has a diplomatic agreement, with CFPD, on entering the ckansystems of each side. They can travel back & forth through Custo and they keep custo clean of intruders, when we aren`t around, and Vice Versa. Believe me - when i 1st came to CF i felt the same as you do now. But with time you get used to it.

BG has a job to do in Custo
it is their system... it was the first system created for CF and it was created just for BG
... oh and i dont like easy going

BG provide passage for new players... the others better should use one of the many other ways

BGs used to take the BMG from Calif to Wheel of Sirius via Alaska - I never saw them go thru Cust.

Yeh, I think the Custodian RP is generally helpful. Just go around using A) the alaska route by asking MN, or B) using the NL > nephele route.

but i think alaska is clan system of MN? freelancer only below lv 55 allowed.
but i think not problematic

i think the only REALLY FREE WAY is omnicron alpha and nephele

If you read the Crossfire story in the mod manager it says that a new Jumpgate was found in
Omicron Alpha. Its really not hard to find...
In my oppinion new players should follow the story anyways cause thats what it was made

This has been an issue for as long as I have been around and even longer.

Basically having something so incredibly convenient outside your doorstep - but then asking people not to use it - will test a lot of people.

There was a post about this in Usul's Corner - but it aint available for public consumption

All the clans that have a system that allows passage into X303 via vanilla space have this problem to one extent or the other.
