jesus fucked up christ......open fire on a BG without warnig and all hell breaks loose, but oh no other way round perfectly ok we have to grin and bare becuase for some special reason they are they only ones allowed to take such action it dont tell me it's never happened i know from personal experience of it so dont give the bullshit that they always give a warning (had this told to me by a certain SP QUOTE 'If he wishes to open fire on you as you pass he may do so there are no rules that prevent it' fuckin funny that from what i read here anyone opens fire on them without warning its gonna turn in to war......pppffffftttttt same old shit one rule for 1 diff rule for the other tell me too fookoff or wotever ban me i care not i do believe i have grown up enough to realise this IS A FUCKING GAME you people need to take a step back and stop taking all this bollocks so serious like i said before if u dont like it dont fkin play it simple as!!! Hmm... I know it'll sound tactless to trivialize all this, but from reading those last few posts I was laughing so hard that I nearly fell out of my chair. I can hardly beleive you guys can say things like that so seriously and expect to get any kind of reasonable reply. Even now I can't keep a straight face.

Anyway, that's not why I'm cutting in here. Is it just me, or has it been just shy of twenty posts since an actual, well-thought of point has been made? Could somebody get banned now or at least some of these posts deleted? I know we're not exactly sticklers for the rules here on this forum but these posts have clearly gone far over the line of what's decent, acceptable, or even relevent.

If anything it might help us get back onto subject or, better yet, move on? -_-

Wow, I just read the whole thread... It's amazing how little it takes for the community to get out of hand. I wonder why it's so difficult for us to keep up Roleplay without causing all sorts of trouble. Everyone's been on the edge for some time now. Why all the hatred? Why the grudges that never end? The senseless killings?

I say we should add to the game rules: "Please leave your personal issues at the entrance, drop your prejudice, and put on a smile. Then you may enter."

The reason I left CF some time ago was because the community was starting to boil with anger. What happened after I left, I don't know, but if there is one thing I am now certain of, it's that time won't solve our problems. If everbody waited for something to solve itself, then nothing would be done, no one would be happy, and all hell would break loose again.

So now we really need to cut the crap, and turn to each other, to figure out a sensible way to solve all of this. We can't rely on OP alone to solve things. He hasn't got the time nor the patience to carry this out. It's time we face our responsibilities and really start clean.

For this we will need time, but we need everybody's help. I say everyone deletes their screenshots. Get rid of that Crossfire Shots directory. That's a first step towards a clean start. We need to forget what has happened in the past, and we need to look to the future. Why? Because otherwise grudges will remain and even after we rebuild, one day someone will make a comment, which might lead to some wounds to open again. Others might start to poke that wound, whilst others try to cover it up. And it will be like this all over again.

At the moment I can't really be on, since school has started again, and I kinda got tired of CF, so I am playing other games. But if I see progress is being made, then I will come to lend a helping hand. We need to get someone to start that cleanup. If no one volunteers, then I will take on that responsibility, but I will not be doing the work alone. I want everybody's support on this!

first of all i will thank trowa for proving that some of my faith into a group of ppl was not wasted

but to come back to the main topic of that thread
since DD invaded custodian yesterday BG is once more in state of war with all resulting consequences of it
as usual this war is not limited to one server
exceptional order is that DD members which have shown good behaviour and which want to stay on CF may get the chance to do so as freelancer
there is the official order not to harm them and treat them with respect
the SP have to be contacted in that way

considering the broken rules on the forum and on the server the violators of those rules are going to be banned
id like to have the screenshots from yesterday as proof
if DD has claims towards my members id like to have a proof aswell
if you dont have any proof i will consider it a false accusation which i will add to the reasons why you are going to be banned from this community

and now its time to make a few things clear to those which remain... and to those which have doubts
as admin and as leader of BG i am in a very difficult situation since everybody thinks that my member has advantages or that they can do whatever they like to do

but the truth is that they have to live with more restrictions than you all and in case they do something wrong they are going to be punished harder than you all
there are ex-BGs on the server and you can ask them

BG is a military clan which gets its orders by me or wavey... BGs task is to keep the balance on the server and deal with those which show some crappy behaviour
we usually play "police rp" but like already said the balance is most important and thats why we also supported pirates in the past (in the interest of the server)

i can decide very well between my role as admin and my role as clanleader

as admin that i am i can only judge about what i can see
so if a trouble maker starts crying at the forum "this guy did this to me... and then he did that" without presenting a proof to me then i will simply ignore this guy
often i get contrary statements by 2 ppl and as a matter of fact i can only believe the guy which has the screenshots
everything else is not important since nobody can prove words without screenshot or log

im not known to be an admin which does overreact... my most used expression that i post is "wait and see"
but i expect that rules are to be followed by everyone
often i deal with such broken rules in background together with the clan leader (or in case of BG directly with the member) before i start to kick ppl from the server or ban them
i havent touched the ban function of the forum and the server for a very long time and i have to do it now is just proof of how serious this situation is

this community was originally build on trust
but please tell me how i should trust ppl which constantly break rules?
how should i trust a clan which thinks it is normal to recruit out of other serverclans?
how should i trust someone which claims so much shit without presenting a single proof?
which of the CF clans can say that DD wouldnt recruit out of another server clan and weaken it this way?
is this a base of trust?
no it isnt!

CF has lost alot of trust due to stupid acting ppl which give a damn about the community itself... they only see their own personal advantage and give a fuck about others
this has to stop
CF needs to find back to the trust
the members and leaders need to start to talk with each other again and solve problems in a civilized way
rebuild what has been damaged or destroyed
and if i need to throw out those which cant go by the rules then this will be the way i have to go now

we better do some house cleaning before we all get affected by the crap

BG has no other rights than others
but maybe its time that you see a bit more how the situations are different
in case of LP my clan initiated a "LP campaign" a few months ago where we did attack LP (also without warning)
this campaign as originally after LP invaded custodian which could easily have lead to a war
we decided to use rp instead to deal with this situation

as LP are pirates and BG are police they can attack each other without warning
that is rp and nothing unprovoked
if a merc has a job running and does attack someone because of this he also doesnt need to announce it
nobody ever said that an announcement is needed as long normal RP is involved
ive stopped counting how many times i was killed by saxon without warning (i just get pissed when it does happen while i have to work on the server)

but when it comes to unprovoked attacks, invasions or abuse of RP (such massive bounties) we are dealing with a completly different situation

i dont know what happened that Kwiz had a KOS on his head at that time when he started playing here
maybe he was in custo... maybe it was because of another reason
i dont know... i simply cant remember ... but usually we dont place a KOS on someone for no good reason
if it was because he was in custo without permission then i can only say that this KOS was valid
every clan does put violators of clanspace on KOS and that is absolutly ok

Kwiz and LP are good guys which are very respected by BG and the rest of the community
we loved that roleplay we had.. and we loved those RP stories on the forum (until too many bad comments and flames became part of them)

the server and this community does need unlawful guys

Anyway - I am sorry for posting under this char - Kwisatz is lost to SWAT Forum, and this char only used in EXTREME CIRCUMSTANCES - unprecented in my time - but older vets may have seen it all before
