There was an option in Mod Manager via the Crossfire mod to start after the FL storyline if I’m correct
-
I have only just noticed I had the wrong time for the event y’all that’s my bad
Will reschedule for later on during the week
-
Where did you download the mod and when?
-
I have no doubt that there’s no correlation with the PvP fights in Arena.
Did you two restart the launcher after the server reset? Sometimes the server will kick and ban you because the launcher updates the Dynamic Universe files and it can cause problems with your game as it hasn’t updated with the server reset

LordRaydenMK started a new event:
Quote”C>: Data Uplink Complete

This is police Officer Jacob Hearse of the Liberty Police Incorporated, we’ve had reports of a Thief who has currently stolen approximately 250 crates of Whiskey aboard Neutro Station. We’re now on sector wide manhunt for a man known only as the Whiskey Thief, aboard his Freighter, Callsign: |DP|WhiskeyMover. We have heard that he may be in the X-3043 system. There will be a heavy bounty of 50 Million to any who have successfully destroyed his freighter and have stopped him from stealing our favourite beverages.
We don’t know where he’ll be, but we know he will be around 9PM Tuesday Standard Servertime
We also know he has several checkpoints to head through first before he can offload in Sigma-17, and those systems are as followsOmicron-Alpha
Good luck Freelancers, we hope to see a few of you out there... we can’t handle this ourselves

Flagnabbit I missed it
Oh well, it’ll give me time to prepare
Always a silver lining
From what I heard, it was a great event, thanks Wanderer! Hoping to be there for the next one

Rushing away from Planet Cambridge, he had to prepare. Knowing not all of his Clan mates would side with him, he had to set up as much preparations as he possibly could. He flew to the far corners of Sirius and purchased an excellent Fighter favorably reviewed by many different Freelancers. He journeyed to the inner circle of Sol to purchase another favorably reviewed Soulforge Train, to transport his Stolen goods from Point A to Point B. He set his voyage the Naval Shipyards of the Liberty Labs and purchased one of the finest pieces of Technology Liberty had to offer, a Liberty Dreadnaught. his last purchase was to be a freighter, not any freighter no. This freighter needed to have combat durability and offer a spacious enough hold to transfer Whiskey in case his Train becomes compromised. And he knew exactly where to this freighter.
He had to go back home
Climbing into the Cockpit of his favored Chimera, he took a deep breath. He knew that his time to fly around in this vessel would at some point in the near future be the end. He had set course to the Mercy Dark, hidden away in the mysterious and restricted system of Sigma-17. Battling through numerous Bounty Hunters and even a few Lawful corporations, he had reached his destination and stopped at the Sigma-17 jump hole in Omicron Theta. He had to make sure no one on his contact lists was awake or active anywhere near the base, or even inside the system. Luckily for him, this would be the perfect time to steal an Antares Classed Freighter from his Clan Base and immediately flew through Jumpspace. Not wanting to lose haste, he set full power to his engines and flew as fast as he could directly towards the Mercy Dark. After hearing the Automated services allow him to land, he flew onto the deck of the base, and a set a course for the Ship Dealer. Unfortunately, before he could make it anywhere near the ship dealers room, a familiar shadowy figure blocked his path
This was a turning point in the Whiskey Thiefs history, as this was the deciding moment before he really wanted to go ahead with his plans, or bow down and accept defeat before anything had even started.

His journey took him to the Cambridge system, and onto the planet Cambridge. Mainly regarded as a research system of Bretonia, it’s also the home of the largest collection of books and data.
He settled into a comfy couch in the Cambridge International Library and opened a book. This book was filled to the brim with information about many Pirate clans, active and inactive located within the sector of Sirius. [AS], (Fallen), (SMG) [LC]... however, he took a special interest in the clan, the Lost Prophets. A clan that would invade the system of Custodian which was home to the prestigious Police clan, the BloodGuard. The Lost Prophets would tell tales and write entries detailing their invasion and thievery of Whiskey. Pinching whiskey wasn’t really that much of an impressive feat the Whiskey Thief thought, he’s done it so many times himself. But when he caught his gaze upon what really solidified the legends of the Lost Prophets, was that they had stolen nearly two million bottles of the finest whiskey Planet Blood had stored. He had a thought: He maintained his status as Good guy, a Mercenary who would help out people. Who’d request services from freelancers and who’d take bounties off of anybody’s heads with sincerity and respect.
Well it’s time to change that
Starting from right now, his quest and plan is to steal THREE million bottles of fine Whiskey from the Custodian system. Sure he’s a Mercenary and not necessarily a pirate. And thieving is naturally considered against a Mercenaries code of honour. But who cares? He can’t remember the life he had before, so why should he be compelled to follow someone he doesn’t know? All he knows, is he wants those bottles of Whiskey. He wants to overtake the record of an Entire clan by himself. And he will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. He knows he will survive, no matter how many times his ship is destroyed by police who are upholding the law, and pirates who want to protect LP’s legacy and freelancers alike. He will fight anyone that stands in his way, even those of his own clan. -
Several years had passed. The journals of the Whiskey Thief had been lost. The Whiskey Thief had managed to secure the Datapad of his old clan leader's. Apparently, it lead to a series of systems off of the Sol Sector. Denne, an infamous Merc had managed to locate the Renaissance systems before anybody it seems. The strange bright light, was what appeared to be an amplified neutrino based explosion on a secluded part of the Planet Kurile. Where unknown parties believed that a case in that specific area was hidden.
The diaries of the Whiskey Thief had been lost and has thus come to a close. Instead begins a new chapter for this veteran pilot. In a new Era of his life. The Whiskey Thief is back, and this time, he's back with a thirst for power.
He awakens on the deck of the Mercy Dark. Abandoned... Alone... and without a single thought in his head. He stands up still in a completely blank state, trying to remember something... anything. But nothing came about his history. He remembered he enjoyed his pure distilled whiskey, and often enjoyed flying around in either his Battleship, or his Iguana fighter. Walking towards the bar, he poured himself a glass of his favorite beverage and drank. He drank and drank until he couldn't drink any more.
This repeated on a cycle throughout the entire week. Wake up, excrete, drink, drink some more, sleep, repeat. Knowing he'd only sink further into this hole he's in. He slept until he was sobre, then proceeded to climb into the cockpit of his Iguana. He scouted the entire system of Sigma-17 trying his best to memorise every single thing about the system. He proceeded to do the same with Sigma-13, however, he took a special interest in memorising the base that [AS] owns. He did this with a lot of systems. But anytime he scoured the system, he seemed to forget the Police bases, the patrols of Police and Military in the area and take a heavy interest on the Pirate bases, and patrols. Often hailing them, more so often then the standard factions and even other freelancers unless they were pirates. It appears that Whiskey Thief had an eerily dark future ahead of him.

After a heavily calculated mission where three veteran pilots show off their skills to annihilate their Nomad targets, rendering the system safe for quickly travelling again, and pinching their weapons, the Veteran hunter |TSH|TribbTrubb had managed to take home 48M credits after thieving off with 28 Nomad cannons and blasters. Closely followed by (IOC)Fencer taking home 37M with 27 guns, and a valiant support from hunter legend Ajay taking home 18 guns and securing 23M credits for himself
Hopefully everyone enjoyed the event and I also hope they use their reward creds wisely hehe

Landing in one of the bays of the HQ, he had a feeling that the information he needed would be held by someone in the bar. Climbing out of his cockpit and setting foot on the cold metal flooring of the base, he headed to the bar
A random figure amongst the people of the bar had some proper information for him. He ran the message through a decoder ring and the message was soon decrypted“INITIALIZING DATA DECODER

TFR>: this is an emergency broadcast to any and all Renaissance fighters in the vicinity. This is Arles station in the Alsace system. We are under attack by numerous alien spacecraft, requesting assistance immediately. Most of the base has been cordoned off after explosions ran through the secondary modules. Our defences have been fried and all friendly ships have been destroyed in the battle
We can’t hold on much longerEND MESSAGE”.
Arles station? Alsace system? This wasn’t registered on Dredd NAV map. The bartender hadn’t a clue about it either. However, a Freelancer a while ago managed to locate a hidden jump hole somewhere in the Asteroid field between Jupiter and Mercury. This was all the information needed for Dredd and he set out to discover it.
I guess you could say his trip was sort of... Annoying. Despite having the best scanning system money can buy, his search appeared fruitless. The asteroid field was a big place and it was home to numerous pirates that loitered the area. Dredd almost decided to give up his search and head back before a shimmering object appeared from a far off location.
He knew that was what he was looking for and immediately set full speed towards it.
Catching his gaze upon the jump hole, it lead to Epsilon Eridani, a system which was considered extremely close to the humans back on Earth centuries ago. Taking a deep breath and sigh, he entered the portalBlue flashes of light erupted his vision and he has to quickly move to avoid being shot down.
Nomads. This system was littered with Nomads. However, they were only the light scout ships which had a decent amount of hull strength but rather weak weapons. It took him all of a minute to blast them out of the stars before he set around to scouting the system. Maybe the information he’d find would be uploaded to the Mercy Darks information archives. Bypassing numerous wings of Nomad scouts, a giant hunk of rock which appeared inhabited by Nomads and gave a big impression that it was yet another Nomad city, and sensor jamming nebulas, he’d located another jump hole. It registered as Tau Ceti. Another system which was also considered close by. It appeared phase aligned but it was extremely weak. It would more then likely disappear after the jump. He went full throttle through the portal, watching the walls of Jumpspace closing around rapidly around him
He managed to appear in one piece in a rather smallish system completely inhabited by a supermassive asteroid field. However, he had eyed a rather small asteroid fragment that stood out amongst the asteroids. He slowly approached the rocks and was surprised at what he had found -
LordRaydenMK started a new event:
QuoteRIght, since I'm back and still am an event manage, I've decided to slowly rope myself back into the scheme of things
As so
NOMAD HUNT MEET AT X-3043 AT 10AM STANDARD SERVER TIME, I WILL BE AWAITING WITH MONEYZ
I was thinking of doing maybe a solo version if we only have our advanced experienced hunters there
As so, the rewards will be as follows
Most collected guns: 20M+1M per gun
Second: 10M+1M per gun
Participants: 5M+1M per gun
However, if some of our newer players would love to join in, I'd consider maybe utilizing hunting groups so nobody gets blown up too easily (No offense, it happens often to me too and I'm not even necessarily new)
Winning Team: 20M+1M per gun
Other Teams: 10M+1M per gun
I hope to see a great turnout, good luck freelancers

A brief and short distress signal awakened Dr Dredd from his peaceful slumber in the confines of the Mercy Dark. Albeit annoyed, he must’ve known that this was important and went underway to the communications room in the base.
“TFR>:DATA UPLINK COMPLETE
ERROR ERROR LEVEL 7 ENCRYPTION”
The acronym TFR was puzzling to Dr Dredd, as he had never ever heard of that before and none of the files in the archives of the Mercy Dark had no mention of it. He uploaded the encrypted signal into his neural net and set to work to try and find people who’d be able to somehow decrypt the message.
He scouted the Sirius Sector near and far until he decided Earth would be an appropriate place for him to search for answers. After a long and tiring voyage in his Chimera, he made it to the well stocked of Earth and immediately set his gaze upon the bartender. A short discussion with the drink slinging man helped Dredd understand that the acronym TFR was for The French Renaissance, an old branch of the Alliance that was believed to have been annihilated by the Coalition blockade all those centuries ago. This message here, proves that was not the case. The bartender had urged him to head to the Order HQ in the orbit of Mars, as maybe someone there would have a clue on how to decrypt the message.
However, en route to the base was another distress signal. This time strong... and close by
Deciding to put his personal mission on hold for now, he decided to investigate. The signal originated near the small rings of Jupiter, and judging on the tracking of the Chimeras intricate and complex NAV, it came from a freighter. After exiting the warp buoy, he immediately went on full cruise, determined to locate the origin of the signal. In the depths of the voids of space, he saw a faint blue vessel in the distance. And then an explosion of a smaller vessel. Activating his weapons as soon as he approached, he came to face to face with a Nomad Battleship. He knew he was outgunned and practically outnumbered, but he was definitely not outskilled. The battle was lengthy, the Nomads heavy guns were mostly missing the Chimera, but the hits that it did land hurt a lot, but the raw firepower and agility of Dredd settled the fight. He watched as he saw a bright shining blue light envelop his ship and explode far enough away to render him safe from the shockwave. He pondered how and where did that ship come anywhere near Sol... the order had managed to clear the system months ago, there should be no Nomad ships anywhere near the main planets, much less close by Jupiter. Maybe it had something to do with the original encrypted signal. And thus, Dredd left the scene and continued on his voyage to the Mars HQ, unaware of how his next huge adventure would surely not only change the history of Dredd, but also the history of humankind -
I do think this would help a lot with the Merc problem of the RP side of things
but I’m not sure about the server populations
a shot out of the dark could be a few of us could try streaming our gameplay on media’s like Twitch to help maybe rope others in to play as well? Also probably could help make a few bucks on the side to help with the server or even just for yourself. Only problem is we’d need to somehow advertise it. Games like Minecraft and Fortnite have been dominating Twitch for ages, so getting in some promotion and then some viewers could be a great help with the population issue I believe -
Congrats
-
Without proof, it’s just an issue of “He says-she says”
For a small population, there seems to be an awful lot of dramas
If someone’s being unfair and treating you wrongly, I’d recommend you press the PrtScrn button on your keyboard to screenshot to capture your chat with a person that is causing grief
This should go for EVERYONE, and it would possibly minimise a bunch of dramas

Coming from personal experience of taking a bounty off of Roxy’s head
He has limited EnglishAnd that’s fine, despite needing to know a bit of English to play, it’s understandable to take your time for players to get across the rules, unwritten codes, etc. I think this is a fault of no one’s. If I was to engage a player with Bots&Bats, I’d probably do the same thing and in the aftermath, let them know, in as simple terms
“For PVP, we don’t use Shield Batteries or Nanobots”
That way, it’s simple, it’s full proper English, and they can translate it easier if they wish. Also perhaps guide them to the rules.
that’s just me though, but I know perhaps doing stuff as simple as this, would probably solve a lot of arguments. -
Try increasing Object detail to at least halfway if they're down.
That's the only time I've found invisible stations, bases, ships, etc
Also welcome back, will be happy to assist you with anything if you see me on
