Threads Missing

All LP are advised to use only the one server, CF.

Over the past week some of us tested other servers to see what was possible IF the event should happen that we loose CF. As it seemed as if we might do, and we need to keep the clan active.

Just in case you see some of our names registered on other servers, this is the reason why. So it should not be a surprise. All LP who were testing on these other servers have been recalled to CF now. And hopefully this is where we will stay.

Also on your point no.1 OP:
We was not at the meeting to discuss the future of our clan, because that is a descision we must make between LP as an internal matter. In addition, you show that you are not welcoming of our clan on the server so this does not make you approachable for any solutions.

Agreed, the discussion did quickly turn towards what happens with the server, however we did mention first, what happens with the administration of the server, because you have been successful for years running a good comunity and server, and without you where would this server go. I understand your point, because without a good admin, its not worth even connecting to the server.

Regards the money issue. We, all server clans, can do our best to keep the server an interesting place to be and we do this by creating Roleplay. Its unfortunate for us that you dont like to hear it because RP is the reason a majority of people come here. There are many members of this community who looked to the RP issues in hope to improve them because they recognise through playing on the server a lot that these issues are important to people keeping interest and staying. However, what with the ASF/CSF it all seemed to become blurred in my opinion and fragmented opinions on who wanted to do what RP.

Agreed that many alternative RP's do tend to appear, and this fragments and causes conflicts of opinion on the server, however, these new RP types are never effectively implement by these people through lack of support of the majority. Agreed you must be as sick of the sight of them as i am, because i just wished we kept things traditional RP as per the intended licenses etc... which is supported by the mod.

Now i wish that we can get more server clans to help pay for the server and that OP can rest assured that we will attract long term players and new server clans.

BTW, im told [SS] pirate clan is buying a system soon, hurrah. hopefully this helps, and hopefully its not too late.

Op Sorry u feel that way m8. But my clan has been some of the most loyal ppl around. I also feel the same about all other server clans. But a few ppl in each clan can make the clan into a shit wod and make ppl pissed. Unlikely story, but my only concern was with the PiA darkstalker who tried everything in his power to piss me off in the best way he could. Did he exede? Yes he did and he also left this server like a dang dog with his tail underneth his dang private area. As for everyone else i have a pretty stable relation ship between ppl. The hardest relationship to get was gunnys, Gunny was always pissed off at me, because i always had drama. Now i am getting older and starting to relize real life and ppl are starting to enjoy me more now. I really apperate that. As for my clan, i love u all, as one big family who was there for me in ruff times. I am sorry i have not been on fl but i have just had some ruff times in rl. I now have missed placed my cd and i live with my grand parents and i have a 2hour time limit on week days and 4hour on weekends. They told me it was for the better if i could not be on the pc for more than 2-4 hours aday. Oh ne way i wish u all good luck and just wanted to say i will still be here for everyone. I need to get my fl cd so i can start playing again. Maybe DC can expand more and little punks don't leave as soon as they join. DC_(LTC.)_JD out.

and what haegar said is right... there are many reasons .... mainly how you guys act towards the community and that no matter what i do the support that this community would need to grow is not comming from the members

OP, in my 1 year on the server, i think this is the first time i really can read what bothers you .. not those small posts "i request from the community this, this and this" .. in compaer with what you have written now, all that was a big bulshit..
i kinda understand you: you dont want to bother others with your own personla problems and ways how you solve them because you dont feel well after that ... same here ... but in order to keep it what you have created, you must be open (like with this post you made now)
on the meeting you said that you will resign from everything because .. many reason you made - not enough money for the server (and something about not being happy with community) ...
also ... in order to keep the community, we all must sacrifise something --- usually those are our nervs and time ... time is what we all have (more or less), but nearvs -- thats the tricky part

if we all see how things work around here and the rules : they are quite simple --- "have fun, dont put others in danger when you have fun and let the others have fun also" (this was very basicly, i know)
--- also, in one point you were right --- usually players come here because of the mod,a nd not the community .. but how did the ever first players come here ? they were looking for the FL mod (maybe there were few exceptions that were looking a place where to live their second live, but not many) ... and when those newbies see how this mod great is, they will decide to stay ... and if the mod gets even beter, they'll stay even longer .. THIS is how the community is made ... of course, you players will come, but also older players will sometimes have to leave ... i know that most of your friends stay here and talk with you and that you keep your friendship .. but sometimes are paths just going in the different ways , and you cant stop it ... its said, but its the way of the real life ...

also, players who already decided to give up from the server, im pretty sure they already left past weeks, months ... all we who stayed and are visiting this forum every day are willing to keep this community alive ... but, like in every community, even this one MUST has a damn leader ... leader is what we needs .. you was so many times already disapointed, but its quite simple: first you ask help from those you believe are here to help the community and are OLD players, and then you ask the newbies ... yu know that i asked you about moddings and you helped me .. and i thank you for that ...

and one last thing: by offering the others mods to evolve on this portal (and i think on FL mods) you made a big mistake .. by this action, you offered ALL cf clans an opportunity to leave this mod and check out the others ... i know hat you will probabdly say no "inferno, you didnt understand anything. mod isnt important, its the community" .. but, by offering the players and clans to skip to another server, you opened a posibility in their minds that their are another mods on the world and that they dont have to stay here ... that this community wont mean anythin special to them... and with less players, community gets weaker ... this is SWAT community .. with CrossFire Freelancer mod .. and Warcraft, SL, etc, etc ...
in order to have it unique there should be only 1 mod/section for 1 game .. and not multiservering the same mod . because on mod is surely going to die (thing with SirEx .. but its the question now, WHICH one is having problems now) ...

Considering all that has been said and done in the past few days, sometimes you gain a new perspective or fresh outlook on a situation.

From my point of view I see a continuous stream of about 12 or so players who are always busting their ass in game and sometimes out, to ensure we are moving forward, via enforcing the rules (SP's) or taking on events (Inferno, Flash) people doing advertising, (CFPD, IOC, UAC, LP & TRF) all did these things for CF, not for our clans.

Haegar plowed on his desk for months working on coding for FLHOOK, the Launcher and other specific tasks to add to the uniqueness of Crossfire.

So when comments are made to the effect, that the people in the community dont care, are shit, ignorant etc....quite frankly I am surprised most are still here.

We need people here to be active in events, attract server clans, we need people who have the desire to Mod to jump on-board, we need people to do actual role play when in game.

Many players are doing the Role Play issue and enjoying it. Now we need people who are willing to Mod to help with ideas and projects.

Now what really gets under my skin, are the one's who completely disappeared when Op said he was going to allow the server to shut itself down.

Since I am privy to some chat logs etc, that people entrust to me to view for opinions, I will say for the most part that many of you want this server to succeed and some don't care. The one's who don't care think they are entitled to anything that anyone else has, instead of earning your way and when you don't get your way, you make comments that are completely out of line and not correct.

You the Community of CF have a squad of VERY GOOD Server Police, who place their duties to you above their clans in order for you to have a home, but lucky for us, we all have good XO's to move the clan forward. And what do we get? Nothing.......absolutely nothing and we don't complain about it.

So my challenge to all of you is: Get in the server and do your role play, help new players and GIVE BACK to the community that is here for you. When you GIVE BACK to the community it becomes self-serving and everyone ends up working for everyone....nice circle of trust and dedication.

So you can take what I said and blow it off if you like, you can goto other mods and play (which is your right) , but I promise you, you won't find one as detailed, balanced, realistic and fun as Crossfire.

You will find me in game.

As i see it while im reading all these posts it seems that you had enough of everything, but i cant find any posts considering concrete problems or issues that you would want to be fixed or helped with.
All this BS is making me very sad, i was on CF only for about 2 months but i got attached to the ppl and the server.
Maybe im out of line but i had to say this.
I lost my chars anyway so that is the reason i was not online, but i would like to return so i would like to know is the server shutting down or not?

I mean OP work, taking care of the server, manageing suff, and all the things necessary for the server to keep working.

Sorry if i cant explain it properly but im not well versed in computers and IT.

All i want to know is why (you dont have to feel obliged to explain it to me) is all this happening and will CF survive all this squabbles and what is needed to keep it going...

There was a time when Gunny had put me in the ASF CSF RP and I whined on and on. I am sorry about that and will never do that again.

Please stop blaming OP and stop fighting here who is right and wrong. We all want the Server to continue on so we can have our friends here. I know I am not a Server Clan but still I have been here long enough. I hope we can all play on the server.

I think I might want to bring some attention here that there is a hacker roaming on the server giving free guns of all kinds to anyone who wants them. Server Police please apprehend the guy so that we the people who work hard get our benefits. All Wrecks have stopped Respawning.

This server will survive just stop questioning whether it will survive or not. Haegar said and OP confirmed that it was not about the money. There is my whole clan who wants to see this server survive.

I know that money is not the problem, if it was im sure we all would chip in.

And i had to ask, because i had asked that question and many other numerous times and have never gotten a streight answer.

I had some problems with my pc so it is all from the start for me, but i dont mind as long everything stays well.

Thank you very much for the offer but i think you misunderstood me, i wasnt talking about ingame credits but real money, i was answering to supers post and he said that server problems werent about the money which i already knew.

I see it is not welcomed anymore to ask about or question all these things (problems),the reason for my curiosity (and fear) is that i loved playing here with great friend and enemies, so ill just shut up and hope ill be playing here for a long time.

Ill be coming back next week, im just waiting for my friend to return me the freelancer cd, and then ill ride again.
