Problem.

I've been on the last few days and was on this morning.. Now i want to log in and everyonce in a while it'll let me in with bad lag issues, other times i keep getting the E5 error msg for multiplayer? any other ideas?

check if freelancer is still running on your task manager
and check if there might be a firewall problem

Crtl+Alt+Del

Go to processes and turn off Feelancer.exe

Then start the launcher again.

When server restarted every 15min in CF 1.8 and 1.81 When i quit game and click again on the laucher this problems also appear to me. that was what i did to play again

Clean installation of FL
installed FLMM 1.31
Installed and activated CFMod 1.82

If start Fl, get this Message:

CF launcher

Component ´MSINET.Ocx´ or one of its dependencies not correctly
registred: a file is missing or invalid

please help

Yes, i am Vor from CFPD. Long time ago. Very busy with real life. Later want install CF, but very much Viruses and SpyWare found more times in Downloaded Mod, thats why wait for new Version. This V. 1.82 is clean, my Anti Vir - Male ware find nothing.
I dont have realy much time for playing.. but sometimes can play. Thats why want coming back to CF. But again problem.
Please help.. i dont know what is to do.

I get E5 problems almost every day, And all I do to get rid of them is by restarting my computer, It's pretty simple, Also, If you get it working agian, When the server crashes I'd advice that you wait 5-10 seconds for FL to properly shut down. Thats what I do and It's all good.

E5 means Freelancer.exe didn't close properly. Go in the control panel and stop the process. It will solve the problem.

all you will have to do is open the Taskmanager (ctrl+Alt+Del) then kill the process 'Freelancer.exe' (since this is the source for the E5 Problem)

there is no complete restart necessary.

I am back from work. Checked, file downloaded. Copy in to the folder. And.. nothing. Game not run. I am to stupid for such things. I m sorry.

Downloaded file copy in to System32 (one time) and as i want copy this file in to sysWOW64, coming message, this file exists! hmm.. i checked, found same file, but in little "msinet.ocx" not big "MSINET.OCX" and if start game, in error message is this file "MSINET.Ocx" little file "msinet.ocx" did out (not deleted, but copy in safe order. can again use if need), and did big, downloaded "MSINET.OCX" in same folder. Game not run.

Sorry.. i not idea whats going on

Well.. whatever it was , just uninstall your game and try again. Clean uninstall and delete or move your savegames and see if it's gonna run.

hmm, if your Windows is only 64 or superior as I see in that report, x32 isn't working properly.... so you can't register it that way, or that version....

I heard there were some issues with those bits, but I don't have one myself, so I can't help much.
